TRD Dual Exhaust help

Can you guys help , I got 2021 Crew Max and really want to swap the stock exhaust and I wan to pull the plunger on the TRD Dual Exhaust System . Watched it bunch of videos and really like the sound and the look.
Anyone can share the all the part numbers that I need to get from Toyota !

I think the group buy for Dirty Deeds exhaust system may still be up. I plan on going that route soon myself. Been told he will do a custom system for you and has been highly recommended. Would recommend buying through Parts.Toyota site on Black Friday if you can wait. Their site directs you to local dealerships so you can pick it up, possibly save on shipping as well. They will be 10% off on Black Friday, maybe more.

I've got the TRD. Either that, or as mentioned Dirty Deeds and you can't go wrong.

 

There is a chrome and a black chrome tail pipe kit... make sure you order the one you want.

 

I got the TRD duel exhaust and could not be happier. I used ramps and installed them myself in less than an hour. Know that the passenger side will sag about 3/4 inch lower than the other. I used a zip tie to draw up the hanger a little until I make it to Lowes to get a clamp.

 

If you don’t mind me asking where did you buy it, part numbers you ordered, 2 different tailpipe numbers, and got a pic of how it looks now. Plus the clamp you installed to raise it up a pic of that if possible. I’m thinking of getting the dual exhaust and not sure if I should have a shop do the install or attempt it myself.

Make sure you spray it with anti-rust paint! The exhaust does rust! I sprayed mine with ant-rust black ..

Second This 100%. I used High Temp BBQ matte black paint and 2 years and 20,000 miles its held up perfect. The stock system surface rusts real bad. No danger but looks like s&%t.

 

Shop around for the lowest price and then ask your local parts manager if they will match it. You definitely don’t want to place an order somewhere that ends up charging a shipping fee. My area both parts add up just under 1K. Still pricey but much lower than not shopping around.

 

I order it Saturday for 950$ free shipping trough my buddys shop account. Should be here today . Can’t wait !!!

Is your buddy doing the install or DIY.

When I place my order I’m going with the Black Chrome tip and I’m going to attempt the install myself. It looks fairly simply. Dealership service quoted me $500…4 hrs labor. That seems quite a stretch since all the videos I watched of guys doing the install in their driveways took much less time.

 

I got the black tip , because I got BK Special Edition blackout truck , can’t go chrome tips here But yeah me and my buddy will do it at his shop . Honestly if I had the tools I’ll do it myself . 500$ is a lot …

Off yeah thats too much for labor. I knocked it out myself in about 1hr without a lift. No special tools needed, but use soap or a lube on the hanger bushings.

 

He already did. You'd know that if you weren't fluff posting to be able to try and sell stuff.

TRD Toyota Tundra exhaust systems and Bamufflers go Hand in hand.

 

All done guys!!! Went really smooth and easy. I even paint the pipes black with exhaust spray for even better look and hopefully no rust.

Prepped the whole system and paint it well. Installing was really easy and thanks to my buddy we made the tips supe even both sides.
I’m so happy with how it went and at the end the sound is insane !!!
So happy I went with the TRD Dual Exhaust !!!
I'm not going home tonight , enjoying the sound till the morning !!!

I have the same hi temp spray paint and plan on doing the same exact thing. Got a new RAV4 last year and dipped the taillight tip a dark gray and used that paint to cover the huge muffler that goes across the back. Looked terrible to me seeing this grayish silver muffler.

How long did it take 2 of you and did you use a ramp/lift? I’ll be doing the install solo so I know how much another person can help holding everything in place. I’ll use tie down straps/bungees so hopefully it doesn’t come down on my head.

 

I did not use ramp/lift at all. I use floor jack and lifted on the differential. It took less than 2 hrs and my buddy helped only for the the painting the pipes, otherwise it’s one man job.
Straps will help you a lot and will be a breeze !
The sound is insane !!! You’ll love it

 

Thanks for the info! Really appreciate it. Parts manager called yesterday and said my parts are in and my new truck is suppose to land today although I won’t be able to pick it up until Monday or Tuesday.

Really looking forward to doing this install. Also got the Brushed Stainless Steel steps which will probably take 10-15 minutes per side tops.

If you’re ever driving along behind a RAV4 you will immediately notice the hideous muffler which is positioned sideways so it goes almost side to side. Ugly Ugly cuz that grayish silver just doesn’t go with the vehicle. Anyway I did like you and it looks way way better. Been a year now and it’s still holding up. I did notice a small scrape so I need to give it a quick shot of paint…a one minute job. Otherwise it still looks like day one!
