Thank you for the add. The electrical started with the drivers side door lock, it sometimes the fob would not unlock/lock. Then the tailgate seized up. Then the wheel speed sensor threw an error. Now the 4WD won't always work. Oh yes the ABS. Any insight would be much appreciated.

You may need to replace the actuator.
This could mean a whole lot of different things. Will the handle not open it? Will it not lower?

    Did you address this?
You'd have to describe this a lot more specifically to get any advice.
If you have a wheel speed sensor that isn't working properly, the ABS system is unlikely to function.

We changed the wheel speed sensor. We purchased one on Amazon, could that be the issue?

The sometimes got to turn the engine off and start it again to get the 4wd to engage.

Junk parts can make problems, sure. What data did you read off the sensor prior to changing it? How about after? Generally you'd want to rule out the wiring harness that goes between the body and the speed sensor, as well as debris or leaking oil causing problems.

The tailgate lock is the least of our concerns at this time. :(

I would focus on the apparent ABS issue. A decent scan tool will show live data for wheel speed for each sensor, you'd want to have that up and drive around to see what's going on.

If the sensor in question is on one of the rear wheels, I would go ahead and pull the axle out on that side and do some careful inspection of what's going on back there. This isn't as hard as it sounds and once you've done it once it's less than an hour to pop one of these axles out. You may find something super obvious back there causing this issue. Hopefully you held onto the OE sensor... The wiring that goes between the sensor and the frame can also take a beating, so don't forget to look for broken wires at the plugs, as well as green corrosion in the plugs.

What was the code? What did the info say? Open circuit? Short?

C1221 through C1235 are all codes related to wheel speed sensor issues.

If you bought it for cheap ( to good to be true price) it's probably a fake knockoff.
I've had a bad experience buying from Amazon and has cost me labor hours. Not buying from amazon again. Go with either OEM, rockauto or any of the major franchise automotive stores.
