Nope, Carista doesn’t do either. Pretty sure you need Techstream.

I don't see it on the list, but I would love to be able to increase the max volume of the GPS voice. It's half the reason I don't use it.

I think the answer is No, but can you do the customizations with Veepeak/ OBDfusion app the same way? Or are the customizations a Carista subscription thing only?

So, I think I've figured out that OBDfusion does not have the customizations, however, I think the Carista app will work with Veepeak, instead of needing the Carista dongal. Can anyone confirm this? i already purchased a Veepeak to use with OBDfusion to check atf temp, but haven't used it yet.

I didn't use the Carista dongle and it worked fine.

But Carista can't do anything that Techstream cannot do.

FYI; Carista and VEEPeak work great together. That was almost too easy. Customizations complete. Now the truck is mine.

I'm geeking out on a way to shutoff the headlight warning buzzer (ding) when I turn off the ignition. Did you verify that carista can actually shut that off. I can't find an option anywhere in techstream.

I should add that almost all of these settings that you can actually adjust in techstream or carista are also just built in customizations you can execute from the entune head unit. Check the customizations section of your owner's manual. Mine are on page 543 for a 2016 TRD Pro.

You can turn off the headlight warning. I did. It with an OBDLinkMX+ and the Carista app.

My dealer performed Toyotas SB for PCS with a modified vehicle without my consent. Long story short, they fried my radar, replaced it, but it’s now configured to default to “off” every time the truck starts.

Can someone confirm for me what the “pre-collision system (pcs) sensitivity: remember last state. Disable/enable” does?

I’m looking to see if I can set the pcs system to remember to be “on” every time I start the truck.

    Thanks!

You can change that through the truck menu if I remember correctly. Just research how to navigate to it. Is not a hidden setting that you need Carista for.

Has anyone altered the temperature setting for the AC? I bought a Carista and changed a few settings. I was thinking of changing the temp settings to either -2° or -3°, but I'm a scaredy cat and didn't wna mess anything up.

Not having the beeping while backing on the boat and the door staying unlocked when I flippin unlock it, are worth the cost alone!

On my 21, I was only able to adjust the display of the outside temps. It didn’t have the option to adjust the AC temps for some reason.

#sr5things - That setting only applies to Limited and up trims that have dual climate controls.

Gotcha! Now what are the dual
Climate controls? My truck has both driver and passenger temp settings, is that different?

 Sounds like you’ve got em. Didn’t know that was an option on the SR5, unless your vehicle listing on your profile is out of date lol

No that’s it. My SR5 I’m told has some “upgrade” package maybe? It’s a TRD Off Road with tow package, 38 gal tank, bucket seats, etc…

Hmm. I know it wasn't available in 2018, but maybe the SR5 Premium package had that.
