What makes you angry?

People that do not know their vehicle. They need assistance for everything, especially parking. A ball, a rubber stop, a curb, someone else's vehicle ect. Don't drive if you can't figure out where you 4 corners are at all times.

 

Ordering a vahalla catalytic converter protection plate on May 29th and still not having it. I get told the same thing every time I message “it’s getting cut next week.”

 

Something I've never understood, or maybe it's just me, I don't have to like you to work with you. Work is work, my feelings don't change that.

 

I think he just underestimated how many orders he would get and then didn't shut down orders to slow production. But yeah, I get it.

 

This... this means war.

 

When you have a meeting with a prime contractor for a huge job to go over some constructability issues, they've known about the meeting for 3 weeks, were reminded last week and then 1 of the 2 key people decides 5 minutes before the meeting that they have better things to do and no show.

 

How good my wife is at smelling cash in my wallet, which I very rarely have. I pulled $320 last week to buy a guitar, that fell through. Yesterday we went to visit her aunt, when we got there she asked me if she can borrow $100 to give to her aunt. Sure, thats fine. This morning we dropped her car off to get the AC fixed. When we went to pick it up suddenly she's on a phone call with work and I have to go in there to pay. I don't mind, I pay for the car work anyhow, but she knew I had cash and did it on purpose.

To prove it, I'll put the remaining cash aside and she won't ask me for money. Its voodoo I tell you.

 

Try putting it in a plastic bag first. Maybe it will conseal the scent a little

 

Yeah, cuz that won't scream "drug dealer" when you pull it out of your pocket.

Nah, I pay almost all the bills. She saves her money because I'm bad at saving. We're very tied to each other, work at the same office, carpool prior to covid, practically the only time I get away from her is when I'm taking a dump.

 

Thats true. We discussed it before but it would just be problematic, mostly for me. She's super frugal, I spend here and there on things I want. I don't spend recklessly or irresponsibly, but to her occasionally spending $10 on lunch is insane. That's not a bad thing to me, until I spend $10 on lunch. I need her to be my wife, if we had a joint account she would become my accountant and financial advisor.

Quick example of the frugal- when we went to Peru and I was sick, we were trying to get a cab back to the hotel. The cabs were visibly in a shortage that day because a festival was going on. The guy gave us a price that was 60 cents higher than normal. She refused to take the cab, the full fare was something like $4. I was out of my mind feverish, but she had all the Peruvian money on her so we walked halfway to the hotel before I convinced her to just get a cab.

 

Wow, that's dedication.
Good for her, she should have you guys in multimillionaire status by retirement.

When somebody asks me to send a cost benefit analysis but their details are completely bullshit guesses and they think I'll walk into my executives office with it. They can fall on their own sword, I'm not a bullshitter.

 

Or the ones that basically ask you to do their job and you know they’ll take the work to their boss for credit.

Have the crew show up at 7:45, so every aisle is blocked with inventory, someone is standing on the checkout register hanging festive fall decorations and the asshole of the team is driving the floor cleaning zamboni making customers move.

All of that makes the asshat blocking all of the berries while he talks on the phone much less tolerable.

 

A few days ago I picked up a mud buggied '71 FJ40 to rip thru some mud and possibly put a snow plow on for this winter snow removal.
My wife referred to it as "that jeep thing" that I brought home, then gave a little giggle!
I told her that the only thing my FJ has in common with a Jeep is the letters F&J and they stand for "fuck Jeep"
That kinda irritated me a little.lol

 

I get angry when I walk into a brick-and-mortar store and they have to order a common item because they do not have it in stock. I'm thinking to myself, "Well I can order the damn thing too! I'm overpaying in this lousy store because I need the thing now, not in 3-5 business days"

Example: *Walks into Wamart*
Me: "I need bottled water."
Employee: "Yeah we don't stock that, but we can order it for you. It'll just be a few days, we have 5 cases in Frogballs, Arkansas."

I might be exaggerating that a little, but you all know what I mean.

 

Wait one minute! You mean to tell me you walked into a brick and mortar retail store and not only found an employee, but found one that was willing to talk to a customer, actually knew their stock levels without walking you all over the store for an hour and a half AND was able to recommend how you might go about acquiring the item? You lucky, ungrateful bastard!

 

Not sure angry is the right word, but it's certainly irritating.

Seeing members on here that have been on for years, post next to nothing, and then boost the count to just over 50 to try and sell stuff. You look at the posts and they are all just quotes of the first posts in threads that are pages long, and the poster put zero effort in. Their comments are inane and don't apply to the current conversation of the threads, and were all made within the span of a an hour or two. I mean, come one. I get it, you aren't super active, but this isn't craigslist.

 

IT: we see you submitted a ticket. When would be a good time for us to take a look at your issue?

Me: any time before noon on Tuesday, Wednesday after 10, etc.

IT: can we look at your issue now?
