What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

I live in Kansas (today is 100 degrees) and yes the shell is pretty hot. I plan to use it mostly in spring and fall. I have bought one rechargeable fan and plan on adding another. I can open the side “windoors” or use the center sliders if the bugs are out. Anyway, after a long day of fishing, it’ll be fine.

 

I added N-Fab Epyx steps as the kids and wife were struggling with getting in and out after the lift.

I also installed ARB's 12v fridge power to the bed.

 

Put some miles on the ODO to go pick up my new boat!

 

Man I am getting shit done this weekend.

Finally got around to my credit card switch block.

Relocated my rear window switch, and added a light bar switch. My DD stealth bar should be here this week so I made my life easier and stubbed the switch wires by the e brake pedal so when I run the harness for the bar I don't have to rip apart my center console again.

 

Got the OEM tow mirrors on

 

New air bags to help the sag when towing

 

Installed my Hikeit X9 throttle controller. Amazing how Toyota toned down the throttle response off the assembly line. This little baby took it to a whole new level.

 

I purchased an OBD reader and the OBD Fusion app for my iPhone and iPad (so that I can monitor those ever important ATF temps). Heh-heh.

Been thinking about doing this. Heard the install can be tricky

 

I added the Boost Auto tow mirrors. Pretty straight forward. Mostly plug and play minus tapping the blue wire for the reverse lights and running the white wires through the door. Mine are NOT power fold and do NOT have BSM, but upgrade from stock.

 

I washed mine today, probably will be the last wash before winter kicks in.

I love how far they stick out.

I didn't think I'd like the steps wider in the front, but it's growing on me. I also don't want to take them off again.

Test fitted my new set of wheels on the front calipers. Plenty of room! 17x8.5 Black Rhino Rapid — will be finding a set of 35 tires for them next...

 

Got my Rago bed stiffeners installed.
I’m not gonna lie, these were a bit more of a buger than expected.
Happy with final results.
Drilled some extra holes for straps and such.

So they do fit with the decked system! Good to know.

 

OEM power tail gate lock. Easy instal way better then previous Popnlock that needed splicing, this one is plug and play

 

Got around to unpacking my audio system some of it from Tech12volts!!

 

That's my goal next year, looks like a fun project.

 

Oh yeah! I love a awesome system. Had numerous systems. Waiting on processor. But it gives me times to think if I want to change the headunit out. All of my systems over the years the headunit was changed. But I’m leaning towards having my installer install everything with the factory headunit so I can here how it sounds. I have been dealing with the owner for over 20 years and the installer and they know how to set up systems really good. I’m going off of they told me my system will still sound good with the factory headunit. We will see.

 

Always wanted one. She is a 2005 x19. Unbelievably clean boat! Original owner took great care of it. I couldn’t believe how well the boat handles. Drives like it’s on rails.

I have some homework to do…. Hertz speakers, Audison amps, JL subs, DSR1 and many misc stuff like wires, sound deadening, shrink wrap, braided sleeving, speaker adapters connectors….

 

35’s on 17s? They will hit the mounts. Be prepared

 

No worries. Have had a body mount chop for a couple years now.
