Call Keith @dirtydeeds and discuss it with him, he will not up-sell you anything. Keith will guide you in the right direction whether it's his or the TRD.

    What everyone said above.

TRD is not the best choice unless you want something "Different" than stock but trying to stay OEM. If power is what you seek Deeds has what you need.

You realize the dirtydeeds exhaust systems are custom to what you want. The six inch mufflers or budget systems are loud, 8 inch is noticable, 10 has good sound, about like the TRD duals and is good for towing, but they can set you up with 12 or 14 inch which will be quiet. You can have whatever sound you like.

Another bonus to the Dirty Deeds is that you can get a system that sounds good for LESS money than the TRD Duals will cost you. Don't get me wrong, I like the TRD dual exhaust. It's the best sounding stock exhaust for any truck I've seen, but it's also $1200. I tried out the dual exhaust, and liked it, but could not spend that kind of money on it.

I do like that that’s it’s custom made and will be my sound needs , but I’ll try the TRD first. I got some extra money and on top of everything, my buddy will get it for me way cheaper on his account in Toyota . Yesterday he called and they told him with his account will be around 750$ or so . I’ll put the order today and see how much will cost ! I race dirt bikes and love to explore , if I don’t like it defiantly I’ll go Dirty Deeds !!

That's a rockin' discount! The only complaint I've heard on the duals is the "chudda chudda chudda" reverb when cruising. Not sure it'd bother me, because I didn't use my resonator with the 10" Dirty Deeds system either.

I was liking last night on couple OEM Toyota parts websites and both part numbers were like 980$ ish without the discount , which is still pretty descent price . At the moment I’m waiting my new wheels ant tires and can’t wait to mount them and see how it looks !!! I leveled it out and last thing will be the exhaust !!!

I could be wrong as I don't have a TRD exhaust. IF performance is what you are looking for, does the TRD exhaust really do that for our Tundra's? IF one likes the looks of having dual exhaust exits, I get it.

I have a Dirty Deeds exhaust that Keith made that provides proven torque, horsepower and can achieve better mileage once you stop having fun making it rumble with the stock exhaust pipe which I like. Not to mention stainless steel if you upgrade, choice of getting it powder coated without any drone.

Without a doubt, in my opinion. The best aftermarket exhaust choice that is not off the shelf, one size fits all.

Bonus: Dirty Deeds Bad Ass exhaust truly sounds incredible to whatever sound level you are looking for. Women and children will run away when you get on it, but mellow when cruising at normal speeds.

Is it fair to say the 10" is close to the trd in volume?

There are two parts you need to order (what those are escape me right now) so beware of that $750 price tag, sounds like it is just one of them. I had the TRD exhaust installed in January 2021 and tried to find cheaper alternatives than the dealership and found there are multiple parts so I ended up going through the dealership to make sure I bought the correct set up.

Btw the TRD exhaust has been awesome - loud enough for me to notice it but not so obnoxious that my wife complains.

If the TRD exhaust is the object of your fancy and you need to know what to buy, go here and ctrl+f 'TRD Exhaust' to get the part numbers.

it is not too loud. I have the 12” system which sounds stock at cruising speeds with no drone which keeps the family happy.

when I’m alone and the rear window is open. She can scream when you get on it.

Best bet is to visit your local dealer and have them install. I have the TRD duals and am very happy with the sound. Not too loud & not too quiet. They take a bit of driving to open up.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us regarding your truck. It would be best to talk to Keith about pricing and options. He is out of the office most days, but is always available via phone. You can call or text him anytime at 760-877-4234. He does take many calls and texts a day, but is very good at getting back to everyone. Unfortunately, emails are just last to be responded to. Thank you for understanding.

Also, I did attach a few items you may find useful.

    Thanks, Shawna

We actually have multiple sound levels available. Also, it’s quieter in the cab than the system you’re considering.

Pay close attention to the way that your truck drives before the dials, then after. Notice how it doesn’t doesn’t shift back n forth the way it is stock. Our standards systems also don’t down shift back n forth all over the place

also notice how the drone stock is very little and in the back ground. And there is no helicopter sound. Our standard systems also don’t have these defects.

feel free to give a call with any questions.

The guy is asking for advice on the TRD dual exhaust and now he’s spammed by dirty deeds. LOL Both are good but come on guys.
You can text sparks parts and they will help you out. You can use the Tundradude34 or gearrunner discount code and get 5% off. I went with the TRD dual exhaust and I’m very happy with it. It’s hardly noticeable when you’re just driving around. Just a slight rumble. Step on it if you want that awesome sound. Good luck.

Several people making a recommendation for a specific vendor, then said vendor giving advice is hardly spam. What transpired above is literally exactly the point of these forums. I can’t help it that tons of people recommend my products and services and I feel it is my duty to add my input;)

Whatever you say. It happens every time the TRD dual exhaust is mentioned on here. You have a good product. However the OP wasn’t asking about it He was simply asking for a part number. Yet interestingly over half the responses are about your product. I call it spamming a thread.

Actually, it happens every time anybody asks about any exhaust or an exhaust on every single tundra forum and Facebook group. I would say that I can’t help it, but I can. Provide excellent customer service and an excellent product for tundras, for nearly 20 years and it happens;)
