Updated the grill insert. Lower valance replacement is on the way from eBay. And added a Boss stereo with Apple CarPlay. Got it through Best Buy with the 4 year warranty. Cheap radio but I can get it repaired/ replaced any time something goes wrong.

also not sure why any photo I upload gets rotated. They’re fine on my phone.

I love this look - how bad is the drone? What did it cost and did they keep the stock emissions stuff? Nice touch with the blacked out tip. Subtle but finished it off nicely. Is that a DD exhaust??

I don’t like having a remote on the visor since I keep my truck outside. I do have HomeLink, but I still don’t like the fact that someone can open my garage and have access to my tools. I do have a large shepherd that will bark every time any door opens, but I mostly drive my company car, so my truck is usually in my driveway. Next project is the console safe for my pistol. I already have the gun magnets.

Not really much drone at all / if there is I don’t even notice. It’s not a DD…I wish! Some day I will have the extra scratch for a system from Keith and when I do it will certainly run a BAM tip too. My buddy had him make a side exit like this for his lifted double cab 4.6 a few years back and it sounded great! It’s just a Flowmaster 40 dual in / single out. Local exhaust shop in Montana welded it up for me and bent the pipe. Think it cost me 100 bucks + the muffler. Wasn’t bad. All emissions stuff in place, he just cut and welded after the cats.

And yes…I’m gonna hit the tip clamps with high temp black

Good idea. I took my gun stickers (and all other stickers) off the back windows too. No sense to advertise that stuff.

Garages are easily broken into though. I've seen stories if thieves just cutting holes in the door, but most just wedge the door and pull the release. Here is a video showing the problem and a few solutions:

Power bled my brake lines and reservoir. Piece of cake with the right tools. The old fluid was a dark greenish.

Did it take a long time when you did it? I too bought the same tools to “do it right” and they don’t seem to want to power bleed on my truck. Barely a dribble at a time. Next time I have some free time I’m going to try again

How high did you pressurize the power bleeder? I pumped mine up to 10 lbs with about two quarts of dot 3 in it. You might also have debris in the bleeder valves. At 10 pounds pressure it did still take 5 mins per brake to chase new fluid through the lines.

Something is off. You should get a small, steady stream from gravity bleeding alone.

Personally, I am not a fan of using the MC as a means to bleed faster. Letting your foot off the pedal results in negative pressure in the lines = air sucked into the calipers as bleed screw threads are not air tight. One screw-up will result in air trapped in the abs module.

This pressure bleeder interests me though!

where did you get the purple cap on this unit?

My guess is others may be losing pressure at the reservoir cap

The power bleeder comes with a universal cap but it’s clumsy. I’ll get a link to where I bought this adapter. I also modified the power bleeder hose to connect directly to the adapter. I’m in the mountains today with spotty reception. When I get home tonight I’ll put it all in this thread with pics.

It was a while ago but I think 10 or 15lbs, and it held pressure. I’ll try again. For those needing to know the cap, it’s a Power Probe BA10, about $50-60 bucks. Used to be able to get on Amazon but I’m not sure if you can anymore.

Update: sprayed the bolts in high temp black and all now blends in nice. Will spray more of the pipe once I have time to wire wheel it to take the surface patina off, he used stainless pipe.

1/2 of a power stop brake job so far. Need to back the truck in to do the other side.

Gravity bled a 12 oz bottle between the LF and LR.

This picture shows off my curb rash on my otherwise perfect sport takeoffs.

Sorry it took a bit to get back to this.
As stated before, the adapter is a Power Probe BA10. The Motive Power Bleeder comes with a threaded fitting that won't interface with the adapter fitting. So I bought a type C female coupler kit from Amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00SMGZ96E?ie=UTF8 and used the male plug and a band clamp to connect the bleeder hose.

The way the adapter works is it uses these silver pivoting lugs to grasp the lip of the master cylinder. The adapter is installed with the lugs in this position pictured below.

Then the black knobs seen in the first pic in this post are turned 90 degrees. You can see how the lugs would grasp the lip. This side of course would normally be facing down and mounted to the master cylinder. After the lugs have been turned there is a black wing screw seen in the first pic. It is directly under the brass nipple fitting. Turn that until you feel the adapter snug up. It is most important not to over-tighten this. Doing so can damage the lip of the master cylinder. It doesn't take much pressure to snug up so be careful. From there fill the bleeder with Dot 3 fluid and pump up. I went between 10 and 15 lbs.

Before attaching the adapter, it is best to remove the dirty fluid from the master cylinder so you don't pump dirty fluid through the system. You can do this with a turkey baster or the like but I used the Motive catch receptacle and a hand vacuum pump that I modified to interface as pictured below.

This way you can hang the catch bottle, pump with one hand and use the long tube to vacuum out the master cylinder. Goes super fast this way and it's clean.
Hope this helps. The whole task start to finish took me about 30 mins once I figured out how to use the new tools.

Replaced all four window trim moldings, as the passenger side front had disintegrated. The rears were faded, and not much further away from falling apart. I had replaced the driver side front already but it never clicked in properly and would always lift when the window would move ever so slightly. Replaced with these “knock off “ones but they were more than a third the price of OEM, and they snapped into place audibly and tightly. Impressed

Replaced driver side CV axle. My toolbox was set up for 4Runner repairs. DANG!! Everything on the Tundra is bigger and heavier. It was quite a job to do by myself, but I got it done. Of course, I forgot to buy a new diff seal, so I cleaned and greased the lip real good. I drained all the diff fluid and was pleasantly surprised at how clean it was. Re-filled about 2.5 quarts of Mobile 1 Synthetic 75W-90 gear lube. 4x4 is back in action!!

added some Alpha Rex Full LED headlights with sequential turn signals. Quality seems pretty good, but I may add a little extra sealant around the seams. nice and bright without blinding other drivers. So far I'm happy with them.

I think some black rtv is a good idea. I’ve learned to do that from the many aftermarket headlight and tail light kits I’ve had on all my vehicles. Looks sick.
