All "refresh" means is "New and improved" which is usually not the case. Especially with GM, Ford, and Fiat....
The Tunny seems to be on a one year dog life refresh cycle...

I don't know about Toyota's marketing strategy. When we started looking at jumbo SUV's the Sequoia stood out fast. The first with IRS, the first with full-time 4WD, the most cargo capacity, the most legroom in the back rows, the best reliability, roll down rear window.

Sequoia stood out fast, couldn't figure out how Toyota went down to 12k units/yr. Tahoe didn't get IRS or fulltime 4WD until lately, still barely matches cargo capacity. Tahoe doesn't have 4Lo til you get the Z71 package. We hadn't looked at jumbo SUV's before but Sequoia stood out. I guess it's an uphill battle trying to overcome domestic brands.

A stock Tahoe or Yukon 4WD, after an 18" snowstorm, I doubt I could get out of my driveway. Stock Sequoia SR5 4WD I'll blast up the street.

Yes, for that LT suspension. Confirmed. I’ll make a YouTube video about it.

That's because they didn't change the 3.5L V6 in any appreciable way. At least when they went from the original LS V8 to the truck V8 they stroked it so it had more torque and while there may be technical reasons why this wasn't possible with the 3.5 V6 (I don't know) the result was an engine with relatively weak torque. I have the same engine in my wife's RX 350 and while buttery smooth and refined you have to really get on it to get anything out of it. I can not imagine with the TT on the Tundra V6 and 479lb-ft this will be an issue. Said another way, the 3.5 V6 in the Tacoma would've been fine if somehow it managed to produce significantly more torque than the 4.0 it replaced. Instead, it made less.

On a side note, I also think part of the problem is Toyota's throttle mapping. I was initially disappointed with the throttle response of the 5.7 but with Pedal Commander it's great - no added power obviously but it just makes it feel more responsive. The 3.5 V6 suffers from the same problem and I'm sure a PC would do the same thing for it that it did for the 5.7 but it's my wife's car and she likes it unresponsive and slow...lol.

    A bunch
Would be just like the Raptor and TRX then - shares many body panels but has wider quarter panels to house the wider track and extra suspension travel

I'm still a skeptic, especially with Toyota when it comes to the Tundra. I could be wrong......

Remember those 2007 tundra commercials? Maybe they’ll hit us with a bunch of those again.

    This^^^^
I have the Hikeit 9 on my 14. Same as the Pedal Commander. My 14 throttle response sucked. I fixed that nonsense. It's now like my 07 but not as "jumpy". I can change settings on the fly but rarely do that.

This has been known for a few months. It is a regulation that requires the marker lamps when it reaches a width greater than 80 inches.

    But would Toyota do it?

100k tundras vs 800k f150s per year. From what I can find, they sell about 10k raptors per year. That would equal about 1250 TRD pro models sold per year. I don’t think Toyota is that ambitious to make a separate model for about 1000 trucks.

They did it with the Tacoma. I guess until people actually wanted to wash their trucks.

Toyota has discontinued offering the snorkel on the 2021 Tacoma TRD Pro, according to a new TFLoffroad YouTube video. ... Toyota actually says that snorkel-equipped Tacomas shouldn't even be taken through the automatic car wash because it could damage the vehicle.”

    Do not give Toyota ideas.

Right now a memo is being written.

Subject: Customers express desire for cosmetic appearance package with snorkel shaped trim. Further research needed to determine if this trim piece should be chrome plated, black plastic, or gun metal gray paint.

I, like you and Matt, have my doubts that will come to fruition. It's a good thing YouTube is only worried about coarse language, discrimination and copyright infringement and not facts or logic. Otherwise a bunch of YouTube personalities might have to find real jobs.

Sure but do people watch network TV still? I haven’t in about 8 years, so I am skeptical of the marketing value of TV advertising.

I also skip or ignore YouTube ads, and assume that most people do as well.

Can't take GM trucks through the automatic car wash because it may reveal a previously undetected rear window leak.

Wait.....my 14 3rd brake light doesn't leak. I thought the worthless sun/moon roof had issues and the Cmax stupid rear window coming off its tracks if you actually leave the pavement???

Looks more like a body line then a seam, we will just have to wait until we have better pictures to determine.

    I guarantee....
When this truck gets rear-ended, those plastic side panels will be laying on the pavement. Then you'll see the seam
