AJ are you saying you are getting a lot of mud and rocks throwing up from your tires sticking out about a inch? That stance looks good. I had pretty much the same stance with my 285’s on my 4runner Pro and running Nitto’s and no issues at all. I’m looking to put the same look on my tundra Pro. Talking with Dustin from FN wheels and tundra wheels with the 18 off set it will give me about a inch tire sticking out.

Yea with the Wildpeaks it’s about 2.5” in the rear and 1.5” in the front past the fender line with +18s. The tires pick up the limestones and they get whipped into the rockers when at speed. It looks cool and I don’t mind a dirty truck but I’m not trying to sandblast it with stones. It’s got a handful of chips and it’s only 6 months old. So I think I’m going to go with Trd Pro wheels or American Racing +40.

Gotcha. What tire size you running? I probably missed it somewhere. Yeah I only want to be out about a inch for the same reason.

275/70R18. Yea I was surprised there wasn’t too many options past +25 offset.

Nice setup do you have anymore pics of these wheels on the truck? I'm looking to purchase these exact wheels for a MGM but looks like the sun is blocking most of the red on these on the picture.

Any rubbing? I’m putting the 2.5” eibach coil lift on this week & need new rubber. I’m unsure if I can go 295s on 18s or not. I’ll be putting the SCS Ray 10s on which are 25mm offset

Yes. I had to remove the front mudflaps and I still rub slightly on the front left bumper in reverse. Very minor and should be fixed with .5” bumper shims or pushing the fender back. I say go with it!

I’m thinking of getting the BFG KO2s 275/65/18s but I’m not sure if they will fit correctly. I don’t want to buy them and then have an issue.

    Stock tires are: 275/65R/18

Does anyone know for sure if the same size KO2s will fit? Or do I need something else/size since the truck will be stock and I do like the rims so I will keep them…for now anyway. No lift/leveling kit with the stock 5 spoke trd off road alloy wheels.

Like to be pretty certain they will before spending a grand+

Hope it’s not a foolish question, totally out of my wheelhouse here
    Thanks

You'll be perfectly fine. You could even do 275/70r18 on stock everything.

Thanks Greg, really appreciate your input.
So the 70r is even a little taller I’m guessing. I just don’t want any interference while turning from lock to lock
    Again thanks

Some have had to trim factory skid plate to not rub for 275/70/18.

Someone about asked about a 275/65r18 tire: I just went from a falken wildpeak at3w 275/65r18 to a BFG KO2 in 285/65r18. Stock suspension and method 305nv wheels with +25 offset. No rubbing at all. Tire is maybe half an inch taller and wider so not a huge difference. Looks much better though.

Much better looking. Not sure I could go that wide on the stock rims.

Do they stick out past the body/fenders? Definitely looks better with the KO2s!

Did you flip them or are they the Black Side Walls. Only ones I can find have the RWL and I’d prefer the Blackwalls like I have on my Tacoma.

yeah my wheels are 18x9 so I wanted a little wider tire instead of just meeting width specs for the falken's. I do have some poke with the +25 offset over the stock +60. Not so much that I care to get flares. You should be able to find width rim specs on the BFG website. I think stock rim is 8"

I went up a size yesterday going from 275-70-18 BFG KO2s to 295-70-18 Toyo Open Country AT3s. I want to share some comparison pictures between the tire sizes to help people make a decision when considering both sizes.

My Tundra is a 2020 TRD Pro with OEM Fox suspension, Readylift SST Pro Plus 2 Lift Kit, Coachbuilder +3 Shackles, 1.25" Spidertrax front and rear spacera, and OEM BBS TRD Pro wheels. When I bumped up to 295s I had minor rub at full lock in reverse so I removed the front bumper mud flaps and rub appears to be gone.

    Nothing.... yet.
I'm looking at fuel shok 18x9 wrapped in a 285/65r18 with a +1 offset. Do you think those would rub stock suspension with (or without) removing mud flap and air dam? It sounds like if I went with +20, I wouldn't have any issues at all...
