Map of the camp site and rough description of the areas. The middle portion is for wildlife access and there is no driving or camping in that space.

What size tires, what lift? Broken Arrow has variations at almost every “obstacle” so you can almost drive next to, but avoid, each. That said, if you’re stock, take off the steps for T2S.

35" tire, 2.5"-3" lift (can't remember which we decided on lol).

The steps look awesome (IMO) but just aren't ideal for using the truck! Waiting on our sliders and then we will be golden.

I think I found rocks with my drop steps every time I went out. 2 sets later, I think my wife is happy I'm running sliders now. :spending:

I'd rather do damage to the steps than the body of the truck...hmmm...

I am wondering if it's better to leave them on since we will be removing them when our sliders arrive....freaking lead times right now :angrygirl:

Yeahhhh… don’t think you’re getting any protection from those steps, haha. If the rock is big enough to hit your body, it’s going to push the steps up and do just as much or more damage than the rock would. Hitting where I did on the drop step ended up bending all the brackets and made it a bitch to get off.

So on top of all the bad ass fun we’re going to have in our trucks, and with each other……….
Who else is thinking about food?
we’ve got some places we’re thinking about going in flag, breweries and tap houses, and supposedly a stupid good BBQ place near camp called Agee’s.
Id love to smoke all y’all out with my bbq but that isn’t in the works. But I will be doing a brownie or a cookie in the Dutch oven a night or two!

Some of my Flagstaff favorites are Beaver Street, Grand Canyon Brewery, Lumberyard, and NiMarcos. Looks like a few options around Sedona as well.

    Your coming right?!?
    I’ll keep those in mind!
We went to a “……….” Joint, in Sedona. I can’t even call it what they wanted to be called. It was the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had and felt sad for anyone going there that thought it was legit food!

I plan to arrive Wednesday afternoon/evening and stick around until at least Saturday.

Globe is the farthest north I’ve found good Mexican food.

    Shots fired at the valley!!!!!!
So if you head west to buckeye, Zamoras is pretty good; I’ve been caught there by my cousin who showed me the place, I was with friends and it was super awkward, like oh hey……see you at home later hahaha.
Also in flag, Los Altenos is pretty good for the hole in the wall that it is. There’s another one on the “west side” of town that is pretty good if it’s still there, but I can’t remember the name, all I can remember is the bomb watermelon drink!!!
@SAGE63 looking forward to all the activities.
Is anyone else going to shoe shine their user name on their truck so we know who is who? I’ve got a cap so it will be easy to do……

We used to go to a place called Salsa Brava in Flag that was okay - not what I’d call authentic but certainly good for Flagstaff or anywhere else it snows.

Hey all, just curious since I will be using a cooler, and not one of the good ones. Where would I be able to replenish Ice when needed. I would hate for the beer to get warm and spoil... let alone the food...
