    Check out Hawaii ads.

Some used vehicles are selling more than they were new.

I used to get KBB back in the 80s and even then many Toyota models would retail for slightly more than when they were new.

Well, I guess I sold it. Buyer gave me a 1K deposit. So I did it. Now time to find something else.

That's pretty much a LC right? I really need something that gets better mileage.

The GX470 gets decent mpg and totally upgradeable. Big time. Modded properly....will leave Rubicon jeeps in the dust...in style....

If it came in AWD. Maybe a Matrix?

    They're nice but I don't think I can afford a GX470 anyway.

What's your budget? I've been looking at GX's, along with LC's, and FJ's as a 2nd backup. You might be surprised. GX470 prices are all over the place price wise here in CO. @Grumpy Uncle

Do Vibes come in AWD? They’re pretty much a Toyota right?

I think some of them came with AWD. Only the first gen is a Toyota.

My dad had a 2003 (FWD, though). Best car he's ever had and one of the most practical vehicles you can get outside a truck. 40 mpg highway, too.

I've looked at Vibes in the past and I don't think I saw one that was AWD. I've noticed a few Matrix AWDs. I really need an AWD where I live. I don't think I could rely on just a FWD with the snow and ice we get.

Not anymore, prices have gone up. Folks started to catch on to the fact that you could get a 470 or 460 for a better price than a Tacoma or T4R. I've seen some 470's in the 20+ range and the same goes for the 460's.
There are some good deals out there, you just need to be patient and look around and wait for what your willing to pay.

    ETA

When I was looking at 470"s they were in the $5500 to $12000 range. '10 to '12 460's $17k to $23k range. I was lucky and got my '10 460 with 117,xxx for less than $16k personal sell from a EOD tech PCSing.

I Googled Carfax, GX470 with my 80011 zipper. Hard to pin down what was up with pricing, mileage, etc. Carfax helped...a. .. bit. All were stock. Crazy times indeed.

I've always gotten along fine with FWD and snow tires but our streets get plowed from time to time.

I live on a hill and it's about a 1 1/2 mile trip up and down. It gets plowed but not always early enough when I have to leave the house at 5:45 AM. 4X4 is a must for those mornings.

I agree the used truck market is crazy. I can almost get back what I paid for my truck and during that time I have owned it I have put 50k miles on it. Through Carvana.

Once the chips become widely available the market is going to be flooded with 2021 trucks and prices will have to come down.
