CEL self cancelling?

    On the 04 tundra if you resolve a problem that's causing a CEL will it go off on it's own or do you have to manually cancel. If it does how long does it take.

    Also why does the VSC trac and VSC off lights come on for a relatively non-issue like a "very small evap leak".

    short answer....yes it will go off !

    longer answer from FSM....
    since you quoted "small evap leak", curious if this is a P0442 related code ?

    as for VSC's lights on, they are noted for coming on when certain issues are present !

    It was P0456.
    However even though I haven't had many cel come up it has always shown the other lights too.
