Dude, it looks as good or better than the current ones. I was sniffing around a 21 that came in a few weeks ago but the dealer won't deal off MSRP. I'm glad they didn't. BTW it's still sitting there.

I think it's generally ugly, except for the TRD Pro (I think it's called) with the full LED headlights. The side profile of the Tacoma is it's best angle.

I disagree. I love the stance on the current DC trucks. Always thought they were the best looking.

CM Just looks so boxy and the DC to me was more truck(ish)

I really like the DEWALT 20V MAX XR Brushless Drill/Driver. It out performs all the other drills I'm looking at but it only comes in yellow and black. And the chrome parts look really stupid. I'm gonna just keep my Kobalt.

Glad to see Toyota is keeping the design theme of the Tundra alive.

That theme being awkward looking. Sorry guys, but the 2007-2021 Tundra is ugly too. Toyota has an ugly replacement for us to buy now.

If looks are your main motivation in a vehicle purchase best look elsewhere.

Ford put them on the naughty list for like a year for showing pictures that were posted elsewhere online already, did not invite them to any press events or send them any press vehicles so I'm sure TFL is more cautious now. It sucks but I get it.

Looks great to me and I hope those towing numbers are correct. The DC looks awesome. Be curious to see all the different trims. And msrp

I don’t like how the rear bumper is now a part of the rear fenders.

Can you imagine the glare coming off that widescreen tv/nav screen?

No worse glare than any other new vehicle with the same crappy design feature?

I spent a week driving new 2021 Lexus RX350 with a large high mounted screen, and glare was never an issue. That location made the screen easier to see, easier to use, and less distracting from seeing the road ahead.

That I agree with. Seems like a great way to increase the body shop bill if you accidentally kiss something with the rear bumper. Instead of just a bumper you get to replace a quarter panel or two. Maybe I’m not seeing the seam between those parts?

Regardless of what Toyota may or may not approve of, being a public company, they are choosing to follow accepted photo publishing rules. They need permission from the owner of said photos if they wish to use them. e.g. the person WHO TOOK THE PHOTOS.

How about at night? Can it be dimmed by 90% or turned off completely? Having a screen at night right in my vision zone, even on "night mode", is distracting as hell. I really don't see the point of such a big screen either.

Do you like the small screen in your current vehicle? If so, then it's likely you'll appreciate the bigger screen. We aren't talking Tesla roof to floor big here.

Love the interior, but hate the exterior design. So much for the front and rear bumper aftermarket.

Pretty happy with my 2020 now…

Not sure if it can be turned off completely, I doubt it since the back up camera is integrated. Dimming the screen wasn’t an issue though, I had no problems with it at night. If my 68 year old mother, who is effectively blind in one eye, can drive it safely at night and daily drive it; then I’m sure you would be fine.

I don't have a screen at all in my '05. I do have a screen in my 2021 F150 work truck, maybe 8" or something like that. It's annoying as hell to drive at night with it and I end up turning it off as soon as it gets dark out. I also find touch screens in general to be a royal pain in the ass to use. Give me tactile buttons and knobs that I can operate with cold and numb fingers or gloves on.
