I just like giving her a hard time... I’ve never stolen her ketchup before a trip or anything.

 

I commend your restraint.

 

Tomatoes and tomato by products are a highly controversial subject.

 

It's a long story and the decision made sense at the time. This particular friend needed multiple interventions to get out of his parents basement over the years. One of the lesser ones was a diet primarily consisting of ketchup flavored food. Taking him into the Canadian wilderness away from phones, internet, electricity, people was part of that too. Like I said tho I felt bad about it and he still gives me shit about it. But yes, it was a dick move.

 

We have to be able to laugh at ourselves more than anything.
Plus, you had to eat hotdogs with no ketchup. That sucks.

 

Don’t beat yourself up. You let the Devil win that day. Happens to all of us from time to time.

That's because a lot more people put ketchup on hot dogs than on steaks, let alone have their steaks well done, at least around here. But we have good beef in Alberta so we respect it.

 

Ketchup doesn't belong on a hot dog.

 

I'll admit I'm a ketchup hater. Don't care how you spell it. For me it just overpowers everything it ends up on. I don't think of it as a condiment, but more of a cover up. However Heinz now makes a sugar free and a reduced sugar ketchup. They are both significantly different in flavor than regular ketchup. They're worth trying.

In Chicago you’ll get shot for putting ketchup on a hot dog. A lot of other things too, but that one even normal people lose their shit over

 

I thought shooting one another was just a normal greeting in Chicago.
