Hello , I am looking for a dual swing-out rear bumper for my second gen. I want a spare tire mount on my rear bumper. Also, I don't really like the products that you put on the hitch receiver. I really like the Expedition One's design but they come super pricey tho.
I wish I know welding so I could make myself one.

So what other options are out there?

OME Nitrocharger/2612 (front), Bilstein 5100s (rear). Vanguard roll bar modified (by me) to fit over Patriot Stealth retractable tonneau. Aftermarket halo headlights with HID, various LED bulb replacements. 17" Fuel Blitz wheels with some 33" Nitto terra grapplers. Hoodscoop, nfab nerfbars, Bushwacker flares. No-name aftermarket grille, led fender extensions. Black Horse bambi-basher. Various offroad lights.
Make friends with a welder, bring lots of beer and tacos.

Where you at? :D Seriously though, there's probably not going to be a "cheap" option. The swing arms put ALOT of torque on the bumper, which in turn requires appropriate steel thickness and reinforcement, which is naturally expensive as hell. As for premades, I have no idea. If you know a competent welder, you'd still need the bones of the bumper to modify, such as a kit from DIY Heavy Duty Truck Bumpers & Accessories | MOVE Bumpers which aren't cheap, then add cost of extra steel, hardware, powder coating and beer. In the end probably easier to track down a premade. You could modify a chinese bumper, but they come coated and that'll piss your welder off.

I'm in Texas, I definitely not going to buy cheap bumpers.
I like the victory 4x4's bumper but they only make it for 3rd gen, and the price is also acceptable, the expedition one's price is doubled.
I like smittybilt's M1 and if I know some fabricators I'd like to use that as the base.

Hard to judge by photos. I'd like to know the thinkness of the bumper plate steel, should tell you if there's enough meat to work with.

Also notice that they don't have a model for 2nd gens... odd.

I'm building my own custom spare tire mount on my smittybuilt bumper. I'm going to have a dual door system. I bought a kit like this one, (can't remember) https://emsoffroad.com/tire-carrier-kit/ I got a bigger setup due to the 35inch tire. But I plan to build it myself, the way I want it. I have the smitty rear tire carrier and I a hate it. It's tied into the bed and puts alot of stress on it. My build should hold the tire and allow me to put the tailgate back on. I plan to do this project this winter. I have way to much shit to do around the house, and promised I would get that done before winter.
