Just took delivery of my 2017 limited trd tundra. First trip home with it and the seatbelt light was on along with the airbag light. Interior lights wouldn't work and bsm was also non functional. Dealership could not get remote start to work either. Turns out I had a bad ground behind the radio. All good in the world now. Coming from a 2014 Silverado I have a lot to learn. But I love the fact that Toyota isn't giving in the the government about mpg. I want a truck that has balls and doesn't cut out 1/2 the motor at times. Hoping for the best.

Sorry to hear about your first day experience. I think that is rare. Post pictures of your truck and welcome aboard!

Welcome to the site and to Tundras! I came from a 2011 Silverado that had the cylinder deactivation. Burnt oil and the dealer said it was designed to burn a quart every 2000 miles. Said nope and drove it straight to the Toyota dealer where I traded it for my Tundra. Haven't looked back.

Thanks for the welcome. I haven't had a lot of time in the seat but I can say I like it a hell of a lot more than the chevy. I like the fact that the transmission seems to know what it is doing unlike the bow tie. BTW I'm not bashing the bow tie just stating the right now truth. I've been a faithful fan for the last 16 yrs.

Easy there bob not looking to make a monster truck out of this thing. Gonna put a leveling kit on it and do something with the exhaust but that's about it. Maybe do some LED in the cab.

Welcome. Is yours MG? I have my black Limited TRd a month. Love it. Even with your first day issues, you will be much happier in a Yota. I've been the black sheep in a Chevy family for 20 years - and wouldn't change anything for the world.
