What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Just returned from the lake. Looking to change the bulge and grill soon thus creating the midnight pkg.

 

When dealing with any OEM parts, if it wasn't original equipment for your truck's year or trim they will say it's not compatible. Dealership computers and parts departments are worse than this.




Just about anything from a 2014-2021 is compatible. Not all of it, but most.

How do you like your boat? Is it the 450 or 550?

 

450 TS , we like it - that Mercury 4 stroke is smooth and super quiet! Full throttle and trimmed out you can get about 55 mph out of it with 2 people.

Ginger got an oil change and halfway through mounting/modifying my RCI skid to go over my DE cat protector plate. Pain in my ass.

 

Yep...I remember doing mine. I put extra bolts in mine too....I made it as hard as I could for thieves.

 

Do you have a short bed? I ordered this from Boch and they said it wouldn’t fit mine. Making sure I ordered the right one.

PK3B6-34JS0 will fit both a double cab standard (6.5 ft) bed as well as a crew max (5.5 ft bed). If you have a double cab long (8 ft) bed, PK3B6-34JL0 will fit

Placed an order for my lift (6112/5160) upper control arms and icon rebound wheels in the titanium flavor.

 

Just Plasti-Dipped it. Turned out amazing. Super easy to disassemble there. Just be careful on the final step when removing the piece, some loose rubber pieces the buttons push into.

 

I like it! I know you didn't ask, but most of those tri-fold soft toppers are incredibly easy to take off when you need the room for bikes or anything else! Just thought Id throw that out there!

 

Helping my brother move to Texas from Utah! She’s loaded up to max weight. 46 gallon tank, TRD sway bar, Firestone airbags, and WDH all coming in clutch. I was considering driving the diesel but the tundra is way more comfortable and much more reliable.

Didn’t get a good before photo, but I swapped the ol’ chrome grill for the black one. I’m digging her scene.

 

Now get rid of the rest of that chrome....I can't see now lol.

 

I actually am not gonna. I dig the SR5 look personally. I’ve always wanted the plain SR5 grille but this one popped up instead.

 

Are the OEM cargo rails now history since I installed a bed cover, or are there work arounds?

 

My Bakflip came with extensions to lower the bed rails. unboltbthe rail put extension where the rail mounts were and mount the rails to the extensions. note: the large tie downs need to be on the rail before you remount the rails

 

This could also be an easy DIY fab job as well
