Welcome from Frederick area. Id say to get used to being off pavement check out Green Ridge State Forest. It doesn't have an Off Road Trail anymore, but depending on time of year the roads can get washed out and the such. Plus it's a great place for camping, hiking, fishing and just having a good time. There are other places towards PA and VA that offer actual offroad trails, but I think they are more geared towards Jeeps. Tighter trails and all.

thank you! I will check it out! I usually tend to stay south here (calvert, st marys) since I would rather eat glass than drive on the beltway, but maybe it will be better in a big truck. LOL
