Let's Talk Knives

Love that Bowie shape. Gorgeous. I'm guessing this is a big knife. Blade looks to be 8" or so?

Outstanding knife!
Been playing with it all night/morning.

The cutting edge is 8 1/2”, overall length is 16”. It’s a beast, but I’m loving the pattern

 

I keep a small pry bar, a BM belt cutter and a center punch (spring loaded) handy and easily reached from outside my work van at the window. Unfortunately, have had to use two of the three on more than one occasion. Used the punch to take out side window and the belt cutter at a pair of I-95 roll overs. The pry bar hasn't seen use yet and hopefully never will. They all got hi-viz/reflective 550 paracord lanyards in case they are dropped in the dark.

If this Bowie turns out like I’m hoping, it’s going to be a head turner! I kinda regret that it’s already spoken for.
A friend recently pointed out how you can only hold on to‘just so much’

I highly recommend Ray's work. He made a kitchen knife for me and I can't speak highly enough about it.

What Aaron (and Tim) said. The matched set of skinners he made for my brother, myself, and my dad are awesome. Now we just need to get blood on them (and not our blood)!

 

The funny (sad) thing is, I spill blood on almost every single knife! lol
