Lucky you. I bought one on sale at compusa for $500 back in 95 when I started working professionally. It was a monster. Now they practically give them away.

I just have some cheap skull candy wired for now. They're good enough, but the mic/button is hard to find if I need to pause or skip, and I accidentally hit it when looking left. Me and the gf are looking at some Cardo pack talks so we can talk when riding together.

I used grandmas, it was a little bigger than a lawn mower engine. I took a year off after graduation, so i knew lots of folks who took the same classes previously. And my house was already the hangout, cause neither of my parents are strict.

My buddy just got cardo. Only 3/4mile range, but supposed to have voice controls and whatnot. Id rather have a walkie talkie setup so you wouldnt have to listen to people mouth breathe. Maybe they do, i dunno. I use hand signals.

Been using the Cardo PackTalk Bold for about a year and a half, works pretty well for what it is. Previously had the Sena and hated it, the Cardo is much better IMO.
I use foam earplugs nearly every time I put a helmet on, cuts down the wind/engine noise significantly and the Cardo can be loud enough to hurt my ears so it dampens that too. Give it a try, it takes some getting used to but long term it's a good idea.

When i first had autotech as an elective at the college (deer park and laporte isd) after the first class everyone worth a damn started running the cdl-course track like a racetrack. Probably got 10 laps in before security showed up and we fled. I can say i didnt learn anything in that class because i was above the subject matter. But i learned that a late 90’s chevrolet will fire a coke can through insulation if its stuffed in the exhaust pipe. Literally head height to someone 50 ft away. Nobody got hurt in the class, but i did break the 4 house mailbox in my yard when someone showed up with a shopping cart.

It was an option later if the owner complained enough. From what they told me it's very minor difference

Does the advanced auto parts app act fucky for anybody else?

I used it last month to order 12 gallons of zerex coolant in two orders. Flawless. Remembered my card info, and my preferred store.

Was looking for rad flush today. Found blue devil on sale for $1.85 a jug. Select my store. App said "who are you stranger?"
Sign back in. App said "which store, jackass?"
Select store. Shows two in stock. Go to pay. App said "Hey, we actually don't have those there. We have them at this other store across town "
Select other store. Shows two in stock. App said "Hey, we actually don't have those in stock at this store either, but they're in stock at your first store you selected."

    Now I'm irked.

Select a store in a clarksville Tennessee which is completely out of my way. Shows two in stock. Go to pay. $3.65. App said "Hey, do we know you? Jack ass." Sign back in.

Go to pay. App said "Hey, have you ever used a card with us before cuz if you did then we lost your info... fucker."

Fucker. I'll use pay pal. It shouldn't be this God damn hard.

App said "Hey, we got your order. Enjoy your two hour detour tomorrow."

I don't use the app but I've had two horrible experiences when ordering online for pickup in store. I've found it really depends on the staff at each store. I always order online thought because they typically have 15-20% coupons.

Yeah you hit the nail on the head, it all depends who’s behind the counter. I’ve had batteries plus honor the online coupon in store.

I pretty much only have one experience with a dirty contaminated cooling system and it was a few years ago on an astro van (my mamaws). Dexcool sucks. Think I drove it around with the cleaner additive in it then did multiple water only fill ups and drove it around and just kept draining and filling. To be honest though after I did all that and replaced the radiator (plastic was cracked) I have still noticed the slightest amount of crusty build up back in this new rad. I also didn't put dexcool back in just regular green coolant. Haven't ever had any overheating issues during any of this either though.
I think if you're changing the rad, thermostat, water pump, and hoses you should be able to get a great deal of it out but I'm not sure it'll ever all come out unless you were to really disassemble a lot of things.

We got a lot of rain from Ida. What are the odds that I'd capture a OGT in the background.
This sonic manager was looking for the storm drain I think. This parking lot always floods.

Dang! The most I've seen is 25%. Do you also get the $5 Speed Perk coupons? Those are nice too. I always shop at Advance because of the savings.

I usually get the speed perks for free when they mess up my order (which you know they do 1/2 the time), so it works out in the end. Those energy suspension creeper wheels I posted a while back were $55 originally + tax = $58.43 - $19.25 (35% off) - $20 speed perks for sending me a damaged wheel = $19.18 total. Only had to buy a couple minor things to get above the $35 min for free shipping.

I had an entire holiday weekend once where it wouldn't let me checkout. I'd get to the last step, after inputting all the info (again) and it would just bounce back to the main screen again.

I waited, in case it was just some weekend glitch, maybe updating the website. Tried 2x that day, then tried another half doz the next day, and it continued to fail.

I ordered from Summit Racing instead. I won't shop at O'Reilly's and AZ is my 2nd choice.

And this is the main reason it's my #1 go-to. Their coupons are 2nd to none. Even for repeat customers. And it's super close (so is Auto Zone). And yes, sometimes you walk in the store, then spend 5-10 minutes while the person at the counter walks around the store floor to fill your order. It's hit or miss.

Could be worse. Around here since we still have many rainwater drains tied into the sewer line, you get to see raw sewage bubble up out of the rainwater drains and basement toilets during a major storm.

I've only seen it on the news. I'm lucky not having to deal with it personally.

Atlanta's gotten sued for this multiple times, having combined sewage and rainwater which backed up, left TP and poop sludge in ppl's basements, trees, etc. after major storm events. After years, maybe decades of paying millions in fines, I think they've finally got most of the sewer system separated. Lots of info on the web. I know a few people who've been impacted heavily for that ... poop.
