What makes you angry?

Those Ford commercials where they compare themselves to competitors. I've heard the "thinking about buying a Toyota Tacoma? Better check out the Ford Ranger instead" many times. What a joke, they discontinued the ranger in the US for a long time because it was great right? By the way they never discontinued it in other countries, I saw them in Costa Rica, Peru, and El Salvador while they were on hiatus here.

Just heard the "Thinking about buying a Honda CR-V? Better check out the Ford Flex. It can parallel park by itself. With the CR-V, you're on your own". Are you fawking kidding me? If your demographic can't handle parking a car they've got no business driving one. "You're on your own" what dicks to talk to their potential customers as if they need help to park a small SUV. All while playing some uber cheerful music. I really can't stand Fords advertising.

 

As if anyone who is interested in Toyota or Honda reliability would ever consider a Ford.

 

My grocery store is open until 11 pm. By the time I get my daughter to bed and take care of my other chores and errands and get over there around twenty to nine, half the produce is already covered with burlap sacks.

 

People who wait for other people to load up and leave for the parking spot. NOT talking about full lots at Christmas, I am talking people that hold lines of cars for a good spot when lot is only half full and you might have to pull up 10 to 15 cars to park.

Heaven forbid someone has to walk one step farther than absolutely necessary!

I used to work with a guy who would get to work at the same time every day, drive up and down every row in the parking lot starting at the front looking for the perfect spot and end up parking in the second last row anyway.

 

I wonder about those people all the time. I used to see them at my office, showing up at 8:15 when the lot is already full but they browse the rows starting with the front row as if they don't know the nearest opening is 6 rows back. I often wonder are they optimistic or is that some form of entitlement, or is their mind not functioning because its too early...

 

Yes, this chit blows my mine. They’ll drive in circles for 5min to not have to walk an extra 100’. The amount of time they waste being lazy is astounding.

 

I shouldn't speculate because he seems like a nice enough guy with a pretty good sense of humour but it could be a Napoleon complex as he's pretty short. This is the guy whose All Terrain GMC is lifted 6" and has never left the pavement. He also likes to sit in the lunch room whining to a couple of his teammates about problems with his business team. I have news for you pal, you ARE the business team. Get off your ass and go fix those problems.

 

Prior to covid I parked in the same spot daily. I pulled in and went right (back of lot) and parked right between two trees where I got some afternoon shade but none of the bird crap. I spent about 3 months prior to that looking for a good spot. I parked there from roughly August of 2016 until March of 2020. I am a creature of habit.

It made me angry when somebody stared parking there. At the time of day that I roll in that row is empty, so it seemed intentional. I started rolling in 10 minutes earlier to assert dominance

 

I used to park in the same spot every day until they closed half our parking lot to build a new unit. It took me a long time to pick a new spot and the one I settled on only worked for summer as it didn't have a plug in for the block heater.

 

Came in the plant to get some shit done for them. Got a call for some help with some folks overseas. Redneck comes up to my door going all yahoo about me being onsite for a change, see's I'm trying to listen to someone because press the ear piece closer. What does he do? Cranks it up a notch getting louder!
"I'm on the fucking phone!" and now I'm the bad guy? Why I can get a lot more done working at home than at the plant.

 

Gophers.

I've killed 3, this is a new one. Tuco heard him last night and I spotted him an hour ago. Trap is set but I don't think he will fall for it. He saw me and got spooked, I think he might have abandoned his tunnel.

 

You know.... Proper desert landscaping would conserve water and repel gophers.

Out of curiosity, what was Tuco's reaction to the gopher?

 

He went outside to pee on a hibiscus and he heard it making noises. He froze and watched for it but couldn't see it in the dark. He wants to get it though, he heard the ones before and dug up my yard looking for them.

I take the dog out to go to the restroom and she just wants to dink around and not do her business.

 

It's something dogs enjoy. Their worlds are pretty small if we aren't taking them traveling all the time. If the most we have to do for the friendship and unconditional love of a dog is stand outside and let them sniff for a while, well it sounds like we still owe them to me.
