Spark Plugs

I've read a few different opinions on how often spark plugs should be changed in the 5.7 Tundra. Some say every 60k but every 30k for best performance. Then there are those who say todays engines can go 100+k without being changed.

 

The recommended iridium plug interval is 120K miles on the 4.6 and 5.7

 

That kind of info is in the maintenance section of your owners manual.

 

I changed out the plugs on my 07 at 98K. Plugs were still good. I changed out the plugs on my 14 at 105K. Still good. Actually my 07 manual stated 130K if I recall correctly.

 

Maybe I don't have a manual.

 

A good set of Denso Iridiums and your good to go for as long as you own it.
If your bored or doing an engine mod, pull em check em and throw em back in.

Maybe this is me and very well could be but there is no place in the manual where it has any information on Spark plugs and tune ups. If I'm wrong, please tell me what page(s) it is on?
