After reading several members experience fitting 295/70/18 with no lift. I am considering buying a set just to see if they fit. Of course, if they dont then I have an excuse to level the truck. What do yall think? 2013 Stock SR5 4x4 with off-road bumper

Now you should be able to get some solid feedback. I don't know enough about the 2nd gens to really provide good info, as I don't know if the fender wells and such stayed the same shape after the facelift in 2014. If, and it's a big if, they are the same then I can tell you that my 275/70R18 on +25mm offset wheels rub on the mudflaps while turning sharp in reverse. You're going about an inch taller, so you may want to do some measuring. Keep in mind, your wheel offset is going to play a factor in all of this as well.

Handy tool here. You can use it to get a ballpark idea of how drastic any size changes are.

Just because you can fit a certain size tire doesn’t mean you should. Don’t follow the herd. What will you gain besides poorer gas mileage and performance?

Ground clearance. More sidewall for airing down off road. More sidewall for a plush ride. Looks that may appeal to the owner more. Salty tears of those who "don't follow the heard." :boink:

You can get more sidewall without going wider. If you just like the looks, have at it. I don’t have salty tears because I don’t follow the herd. That would mean that I give a fuck. I can assure you, I do not.

This is all true. The tears comment was purely a joke. I don't care either. I was just providing some of the possible answers, and if there's an opportunity for a joke, I'll usually go for it.

they’ll fit on factory suspension, not sure if they’ll clear UCAs or skid plate on factory wheels, but with +25 offset I fit 295/70 on factory suspension with removing mud flap.

You’ll want to lift it immediately after the tires though.

I stayed with 285/70/18’s on my 21 Pro. No issues. But I plan on changing my wheels down the road and not sure of the 285’s will work then. Might have to go back with stock size tire depending the off set I go with. I chose to stay away from 295’s. Just my preference.

That's the satellite radio antenna. The "shark fin" didn't show up until 2020+ and it eliminates the fender mounted antenna as well as the XM antenna. See below images

I’m more of a don’t do it unless you need it kinda guy. I got these Iron Bull bumpers for free and now I feel like my stock tires look kinda small. I am unsure if 275/70/18 would fix that issue. Thus, the question of 295/70/18.
I don’t want to lift because I don’t need it. I do lots of forest road camping. If I gotta lift to make my truck look good then I guess so…

Do it! Remove the front splash guard, trim about 1/2-3/4 inch off the sides of the skid plate, and you should be about 1/4 inch clear of the UCA. No lift or leveling.
All tire manufacturers are a little different though, so to be safe have them mount 1 tire on the front to make sure you don’t rub the UCA…

I would say do it. You're definitely going to also want some lift up front to level it out with that heavy bumper. Notice in the quoted post below how squished the front looks with larger tires and no front leveling. There's nothing wrong with his suspension, but it looks like the springs are tired.
If 295/70 is your preference, have at it. I'm with @Knox_Tundy and vote for 37s though, which will require different wheels or wheel spacers up front, and a substantial CMC. You'll gain even more height and lots of cushy sidewall for airing down. Don't think you'll regret that in end. :D
