    I really think your only fix is the t100 or sequoia master

    First roadtrip in the Tundra today. A short one to Chattanooga and back. Checked out the Aquarium and Medal Of Honor Memorial. No problems except my tire light is flashing on and off. Checked tires, everything okay. Just got new Bridgestones put on front before trip.

    IIRC, constant flashing (vs. solid light) usually means one of the TPM sensors is bad and/or not communicating (not paired, dead battery).

    I also seem to remember our tire system remembers the tire pressure it registered the last time you press and hold the 'reset' button about 10-12" below the key insertion on the dash, and it lights up when you get x# of psi away from that number. If your tires are at correct psi, try a reset. But if it's flashing I think it's probably TPMS not communicating.

    Anyone here know if I"ll need a 4x4 inch block of wood ready to jack up the rear frame rail for a rear shock install? My current floor jack goes to about 19" (20" with the aftermarket pad).

    Shouldn't need anything. I replaced mine with the truck on the ground.

    So just compress it a few inches and bolt it in place? That should be easy as long as i can get the top nut off.

    Yup there was just enough room to get at the top nuts on mine from the wheel wells with a ratcheting box end.

    Anyone know what bulb type the fog lights on a '05 are? I'm at work and can't go check my truck right now. Looking for LED equivalents, but can't remember the bulb number/type.

    Quick look at Sylvania's bulb finder claims the fogs are 9006.

    And this reminds me ... I either need to swap my plastic fog lenses out for yellow, or take time to polish and re-clear mine. They're foggy as hell. I guess I should go look if the lenses are even replaceable.

    I vaguely remember @memario1214 saying something about wanting to build out an adapter for our oval fog spots to fit a modern fog pod light? I may be mis-remembering that. Seems like such an adapter would be a rather straightforward piece and could possibly even be plastic? Ideally something which adapts to the Tacoma 2nd/3rd gen style of bracket which then allows proper adjustment.

    Hell, I'd be stoked just to find some yellow lens covers. Sylvania makes yellow 9006 bulbs for the housing, which I may just end up getting. I've seen other members get there, I think it looks interesting, a little throwback to old style rally.

    @Lupe found replacements somewhere: https://www.tundras.com/threads/wha...t-gen-tundra-today.2558/page-899#post-2161139
    @jImmegart tinted with Lamin-x: https://www.tundras.com/threads/wha...t-gen-tundra-today.2558/page-735#post-1907605

    Anyway, it looks like the lenses pop off in pictures I'm finding of the OEM part. But I can't seem to find just replacement lenses. OEM fog housings are just as much as replacement headlight housings, WTF!?? They come as just the foglight unit, or the entire assembly with bulbs and all. Tossing out the p/n for my '06 in case a future searcher finds this.

    R unit - 81211-0C021
    L unit - 81221-0C021
    R assembly - 81210-0C021
    L Assembly - 81220-0C021

    ~2k lbs in the bed. Stock leafs with the AAL handle it well. Also again, vibration completely gone when loaded

    Hell yea!

    be sure to give them new body mounts and if you want suspension. Labor cost should be nothing on body mounts and probably a tiny bit on suspension if your swapping springs

    Just got back from a trip to Mammoth Lakes and she handled everything well. Long drive, some trails and back.

    Also got a new accessory today. Been waiting for it since January …

    Played with the Tundra suspension a bit. Made some minor tweaks to the coilovers and got frustrated chasing ideal up travel and droop, so walked away from that.

    Decided to revisit some pedal bling for the boy’s 4R. Had some covers sitting around that mostly fit. Brake and gas all good. No e brake and the foot rest was too tall and too narrow. Cut that piece down and set it horizontal. Used the scrap for the e brake. All good.

    I get that for sure. I had to decide how big and where to drill with the layout on hand. I spun that scrap around a lot looking - I don't think symmetry was coming from that piece I had.
