I was at the racetrack this last weekend and saw a guy with large enclosed trailer and a Tundra. His sat nearly perfectly level and had what looked like a small coil spring laying lengthwise on top of the leaf spring. What are those called?

That plus the weight distributing hitch seemed to really help the truck sit nice and level, even though he had a truck cap and a bunch of stuff in the bed, hooked up to at least a 24' long enclosed trailer with a car in it.

Meanwhile, my little steel open trailer plus 2500lb car makes my truck do the Carolina squat!

I didn't see a visual of this, like an installed picture of this on the vendor website. I will look for one in the forums here before asking for one.

So if I’m looking at this correctly, this would be instead of adding a leaf or airbags?

Do you tow with this setup? Care to share any thoughts? Was thinking about what impact upgraded shocks might have for towing too, but I'm probably missing some fundamental understanding.

Yes, this can be done instead of adding a leaf.

I do not tow. I installed these to give myself an easier 1" lift in the rear. You can adjust how much it raises the rear by adjusting how much tension you add to the coil spring. The coil spring basically takes the sagging leaf's back to a U shape. You might want to add +1" rear shocks depending on how much you pre-load.

I had this thing on my 07 RCSB. RCSB is gone and now it's on my 2010 Crewmax 4x4. I has a dampening effect both on compression and rebound. On my RCSB I also had Firestone Ride Rites installed along with this. Reduced pogo stick like bounce when loaded really heavy.

I have a 3/2 Ready Lift installed on my Tundra now but am about to get a 17’ Casita trailer. Can I install Ride Rites with cradles along with the Ready Lift setup I currently have? Sorry, probably a dumb question.
