FWIW, the last one I printed with 0.2mm resolution, 20% infill (cubic), and used a skirt. Print the bottom on the build plate and no support is needed, but the top will need some sanding and primer/paint.

Thanks! I'm testing with .3mm, 20% (honeycomb) and always use a skirt/brim to get things moving :) Also upped the setting to 4 solid top/bottom layers and 2 solid perimeters.

    These won't fit a platinum?

Shouldn't ... as far as I know the leather covered versions (1794 & Platinum) don't have the change holder behind the shifter.

Thats correct but im assuming the change holder cant be purchased anywhere? Or I couldnt cut it to make it work?

You may be able to retrofit it but you're probably better off getting the non-Platinum/1794 shifter plastic with the change holder and either installing as it or having it upholstered with leather. Haven't explored either option as I have a SwitchPro in that location.

While I don’t have the change holder compartment I do have switches to test with! The switches went right in with minimal effort and are in there nice and tight with no play. I think based on the internal dimensions being good to go that these are more than likely going to fit that holder just fine.

The test unit should be delivered by USPS today to @shawn474 to see how the fitment it. Hopefully later today or tomorrow we'll have a go/no go call! I'll keep everyone updated once I know.

Glad I caught this thread when I did. Very interested in a plate. I have a 1794; but I'd rather relocate to the space under the center console storage lid (so, instead of facing up, the switches would face toward the front of the truck). I think I can make it work...

Just from looking, the bottom 1/4th or so of the plate would need to get buried beneath the back end of the shifter bezel (where the change pocket is on non-platinum trims). Is the plate made in such a way to accommodate this? If I could see a pic of the back of the plate that would help me visualize what I'd do. The inside of the storage compartment would need to get edited - - removal of the 12v was likely going to happen anyway, to accommodate relocation of the HU input USB, which would let me hide the AAWireless unit when it arrives next century. I hope this works out...

Imagine a brick with slightly tapered sides. It’s gonna be tough to make it work.

I would recommend picking up factory part 55447-0C011 and seeing if you can fashion some way to make it fit the way you are talking.

If you are interested in one of these (once we confirm with @shawn474 that fitment is all good), send me a PM with your shipping address. Trying to gauge interest and how many of these I need to print for everyone. Thanks!

Got it installed today and it fits; now to paint it.

I did have to hacksaw the bolts on the backside as to not interfere with the trim clips. Had to bore out the holes to fit the bolts. Great product and fits very well.

Thanks for testing this out! I'll get a couple more printed this weekend so they'll be ready to ship when USPS opens back up Tuesday. I have a newer version with 3mm holes so less drilling should be required but I'd still clean them up a bit before use.

If anyone else is interested in one of these PM me and I'll get one made for you.

Yes those are the correct switch blanks; I just used them. I ran the relocation harness. I still have to repaint it. I rushed it today to try to get everything done. Now that everything is run I can take my time and do it right next time.

M3 socket heads should sit down flush inside the pockets in holder.
