    Hey guys and gals if applicable, lol. Im new to the forum world and i actually cane on to find out if putting 1" wheel spacers will affect my wheel bearings ? How severly too for that matter if so. Thanks y'all!!!

    Sorry I didn't see this sooner. I run a 1.25" wheel spacer. The reason for the extra .25" is to ensure its wider than the length of the lugs.
    Make sure you get a reputable brand (no eBay) and that it is 1" or wider with the separate set of lugs. Do not use the simple spacers that feed through the lugs that are really just glorified washers. These reduce the amount of effective thread on the lug nuts and could cause the wheel to fall off.

    To answer your question, anything that brings the tire outside of stock configuration could cause premature wear. This not only applies to wheel spacers but also aftermarket wheels that have more negative offset.

    Havent purchased any yet. But now thinking of getting rims instead. I need a 4" back space though in a 16" diameter to keep my very expensive tires which are brand new. Who ever did the lift before me kept stock 06 DC tundra rims and upped the tires to 285/70/16 so i get a lil rub on control arms and frame on sharp turns. Any advice in where to find a 16" rim w/ 4" BS woud be greatly appreciated.
