@NWPirate Up front, I can't really tell you what the difference, over stock, would be since our current boat was purchased after the Falcons. I did tow our 16' tin boat prior to getting the Falcons but that was maybe 2k lbs all in.

Having said that, I've had the Falcons on the truck for a bit over 2 years and 27k miles now, with 7800 of those miles towing the current boat. For the daily drive I run the rear clickers on the softest setting. When towing the boat (roughly 5,000lbs, 400lbs on the hitch) I switch them to the middle setting, which seems to be about perfect. Hit a hard bump or dip in the road and there's just zero drama. It just rebounds and stops. No bouncing, no harshness, just a gentle rebound. I did try the firmest setting a couple of times and it was much less forgiving. A bit too harsh when compressing on a bad bump. Also, I do run 10 ply E rated tires (55lbs pressure in the rear when towing) and have the TRD sway bar in the back.

I guess the bottom line for me? I like having the ability to change the dampening as it really does make a difference (if I forget to click them I can tell after a mile or 2 as it just doesn't feel right) with the boat back there. Love the Tundra/shock/boat combo. Towing, even a couple thousand miles, is just a non-issue, as it should be.

No, so that people can get ahold of me in an emergency. I'm pissed that HR is calling my personal phone at all.

 

I thought with new phones if you use do not disturb, someone can bypass it by calling twice within 15 minutes.

 

Or work can wait until I'm at work to bother me.

 

Depends on the phone and the setting.
On my iphone, the setting has to be turned on, and then it is "second call from same person within three minutes." I can also specify to allow calls from my Favorites (which is only my immediate family anyway).

 

But you know they won't so may as well try to get some sleep.

 

They've never called me on my personal phone before. They can send an email. NOTHING that Human Resources is involved in requires a response that cannot wait until I am on the clock. They poorly scheduled meetings on our "benefits" for days that I didn't work, or when I was on nights. I don't like to sign stuff that I haven't read or been informed on. Their piss poor planning is not justification for intruding into my personal life.

I’m on a mission to hit the two Great Notion tap houses in Seattle area - probably one on my way up and one in my way home. Other than that, would prefer to find something good but not too heavy for a meal on my way north to Arlington. I don’t know that area all that well myself…
