My 10” is lost in transit. Hopefully I get it soon. It was supposed to delivered on Thursday but it’s been in Chicago for 2 days with no new delivery date.

Anytime I see an order shipped by USPS,I just add two weeks to the delivery and sadly, it's usually "right on time" :D

Well I was thrilled to get it and wanted to jump right and get it installed. However, my bolts are way more rusted than I had imagined. Unless any one has any advise, it looks like I’m gonna have to pay for someone to torch them off.

Kroil or PB and a 18" breaker bar won't budge them?
Might were really tight with little or no rust on them.

I sprayed them beforehand but when I went to wrench down to try and loosen them the bolts pretty much stripped out.

Gotcha, so you might need new nuts welded on the Cat side flange also. Maybe Keith will have a suggestion. @dirtydeeds

I don’t run into that situation often. But when I do I typically start by welding 1/2” round bar to the bolt head. This provides a ‘handle’. Then, after a full turn, I’ll cut it off and hopefully finish it off with code grips. If that doesn’t work then I grind off the nuts on the mid pipe side. Unfortunately, there is no easy answer for this situation:(

Well I had to grind them off. Even after grinding everything off both sides I was only able to get 2 of the 4 bolts out the other two were just too rusted. Then went and tried to take the tailpipe clamp off and that bolt snapped in half. Not sure what my next move is. Maybe it will just fall off on my way to work tomorrow.

Order a clamp from Toyota. Then cut off the stock clamp.

Heads up, I'm hearing some pretty crappy stuff coming out of state assembly in CA.
Some CARB Nazi is trying to make anything we do to our autos illegal.
I can't see this going through but, this is CA. where common sense is hard to locate.

With the current momentum, and current steel price, and amount of steel we have procured, this sale continues!!! If momentum slows we will have to shut down this sale and go back to regular price. We need volume to support these prices. Anybody on the fence about getting a system, get your order in!!!!

So I think I mentioned earlier the dilemma of old exhaust system from the previous owner. Quick recap:

The old system was a FlowMaster and the tailpipe had been welded to the muffler and the cat back on the driver side had been reduced. Found a local shop and had them extend the cat and weld the old tailpipe to the new system. After a week of using it I kept hearing a hissing sound and behold the shop guy cut into the new system. So what I did as a quick fix was add some tape to seal it up. Hissing sound is gone but mentally I’m not feeling too well at low rpms the system sound BA I mean the growl but the higher I go the less the sound gets. Might be exactly how the system works but one thing for sure: this thing KICKS OFF now I mean it really takes off. Haven’t seen any MPG gains might be the pedal playing lately haha but so far I can say I’m happy just that cut man it stays in the back of my head

Definitely there with you. I just came back from my first off reading trip so I’m settling down physically and mentally I’d like my head to be as cool as possible. But I do have a to pay a visit to the shop real soon

If it comes down to it, send it back to me and I’ll repair it as it never happened, for free. You’d just need to pay shipping. I can’t believe that happened. But shots are crazy these days, had to be an accident.
