Cavalry Blue Owners

Forgot to drop this pic here a few weeks ago. The T4R was the only other cavalry blue rig I’ve ever seen in the wild in SE Wisconsin

 

Added RCI sliders to the truck....holy cow it's almost as nice of a change as adding the drivers side handle. The only downside is I had to remove the rear cat plate to get the sliders on....will be looking for a fix in the coming month.

 

I agree on the entry assist. I did these way early on with my truck, and I've never felt the need to add the grab handle. I just step on my slider for entry and exit, and there's no stress on the steering wheel or sliding on the seat.

This seems to be the place for the Cavalry Blue trucks. My son gave it to me about 6mo ago. Lots of work already done but I have some more ideas.

Not sure what I am doing next. Maybe nerf bars, or cold air in take, or lift kit or what do you think?

 

Your post is #1115 and of all the trucks shown no two are the same except the color. That's what makes us unique. Choose your own path and own it.

 

I think your truck looks great and I personally wouldn't bother with a lift unless the tires I wanted wouldn't fit. I do however love my rock sliders for getting in the truck so that would be my suggestion for a next move (nerf bars or sliders).

 

Well it took all morning but I got my matched bumper end caps from Painted OEM Parts installed



as promised - I said I’d do a mini review,

they were here in less than a week after I ordered them. (Still waiting 3+ weeks for color matched door handles from sparks)

the packaging was great, they came in a cushioned box and then each piece inside an official Toyota bag that resembled one of those cooler bags from the grocery store.


They were powdered to prevent scratches?

Paint finish is spot on, I wasn’t sure I was gonna do the install myself so I took them to a local body shop for a quote and the tech there was even impressed at how spot on the match was.

Looks awesome! Night and day difference! Did the same on mine, oem parts from sparks toyota, even added the scoop

 

The only problem with that is 16k a year. I would be grounded after a few months. That’s not even 50 miles a day.

How difficult was the scoop install?

 

what site were you able to get all for that price? Link? Been trying to pull the trigger on it but that cost..

what size roll did you order?

how much did the tint shop charge you for install?

also what do you mean by the tint shop matched? Is the color of the vinyl wrap not matched already?

Unfortunately I don’t see cavalry blue as an option for those bumpershellz. Unless I’m missing something.

 

They send them prepped for paint. I left mine alone because I'm blacking everything out.

 

Hows the fit and finish on the flares? debating on these or oem.

Well, it all started 6months ago. I had pulled the black beauty into the dealership for oil and tire rotation. This magnificent beast was parked in the used tundra line. I told the wife/CFO, I was going to go drive this beauty.
The truck- the dealer had bought a combo kit from fuel. It had a ready lift 6in, fuel 2 piece Rampage wheels, and toyo open country 35x12.50x20’s in the package. Fell in love with it and got an excellent deal on trade!

for real though. I’m not a guy to do a bunch of mods on my truck as it is my daily. I usually drive it the way I bought it. This one gave what I was wanting without having to do it all after.
