I notice a big gap between the left side of hood and left fender.

The was hit by something left of center.

I read somewhere how replacing the hinges might be the fix.

But, because the hood got hit, I think it is warped too bad to try and mess with the hinges. The hood doesn't line up on the left side, with the bumper filler panel, like the right side does.

    Fenders and hood are adjustable.

Oh boy. Here we go again. You still haven't sold that thing yet? :D

What's that sticker on the windshield all about?

@Sirfive I lined up the used fender with the old fender marks. The hood is also higher up on the left side, not flush with the fender like the right side. Looks like the hood is slightly bent up.

String, masking tape, and tape measure is how i’d go about it. Center of the windshield to center of the bumper, and work from there. But if you’re not that worried about it, or has more damage than its worth, just close the gaps after the hood is square.

I dont know about the ‘06s, but there doesnt seem to be much adjustment room on the latch, and i cant imagine a way to adjust the hoods ‘pin’ without the risk of breaking a weld.

@Sirfive I just bought a used hood, because the other hood was too damaged. Then I loosened the 3 top left fender bolts, and pushed the fender in, so the gap matches the gap between the right fender and hood.

I say this a lot but paint it black. Gaps show up less on black.

Looks like the hood is bowed up on the left hand side. Don't mess with trying to fix it if you don't know what you're doing. Get a quote and compare it against replacing the hood yourself with something used. Personally, id leave it alone unless it was wobbling at highway speeds.

@Jack McCarthy @Shifty @rock climber Here are some pics with the replacement hood, an 2 pics of the gaps after replacing the hood. Sorry for not posting the pics sooner. I attached some before and after pics, before I fixed the damage from whatever accident previous owner got into, and after the fixes.
