Why does this Tundra blow a fuse when the key is turned to start and the parking brake is off?

Which fuse is blowing? Some specs on the truck might help too. (Year, engine…)

Otherwise, the answer would be that the electrical current is exceeding the circuit’s / fuse’s rating. Which you may not find to be helpful. LOL

2006 it is the starter fuse don’t have the number off hand. Whe the parking brake is off and you turn the key to start it blows the fuse every time.

I should mention put the parking brake on and it starts right up no problem and no blown fuse.

The first thing I’d do is to make sure there isn’t any wiring getting pinched and shorted to ground in the parking brake pedal mechanism.

A wiring diagram showing all connections of the circuit supplied from the starter fuse would be very helpful in your case, yet I haven’t been able to find one at this point.
