I have the same setup. The difference is night and day with the resonator installed.

So far, no, they are rock solid. Moving the blind spot mirror takes quite a bit of force.

It's a simple job. My first time performing the job took about 3 hours start to finish. Probably can do it half the time now that I know what to expect.

    On a difficulty scale, I say about a 3-4

Example: This is the rear passenger side. What I did was set the rock light facing down, cut out the shape of it on gorilla tape, and hole punched the tape for the wire to run through, so at least you get every part of the light mounted from side to side. Open the plastic door sill, drill another hole, using a wire hanger, fish up the wiring light and run them thru the door sills. Once you get to the front, hide them behind the foot well, go around the radio to the driver side and tap into the courtesy light. That's how I hide my wiring. Hope that helps. Good luck on your build.

^^^ I just realized the bumper caps aren’t just covers as I’d seen quickly installed on YouTube. I suspect I’ll need to drop the bumper. Oh well, it’ll be worth it!

I had this done a year ago using the resin end caps, and I've been really happy with it. Just getting you ready for a frustration or two - - the shop said some of the clips that hold on the splash guards had to be customized because the plastic doesn't fit these the same as the steel ends. Also, the fog bezels don't fit the same, and you may get a little rattle. There's a zip-tie trick for that in a thread here somewhere. Also, also, there's a thread (original discussion about the Coachbuilder shims) about leveling the bumper that's probably worth reading before you dig in.

I have a Platinum grille and color matched ends on my 1794, and I love the look of it and having a relatively unique truck. Good luck, and pics when you're done.

Put some PPF on before you reinstall the flares....if you haven't done so already.

Thanks, I was afraid it was going to turn in to a bigger project than I had expected, though I am sure I can handle it. I just need to set aside some extra time to get it done.

I will search for the zip tie trick. I have actually read the thread previously about leveling the bumper as mine was WAY off when I got the truck. Luckily the dealership, through the use of a body shop, was able to get it aligned properly.

    Thanks again for your response.
