Long story short, local dealer made me a offer on my trade as a marketing ploy in the mail then wouldn't accommodate the offer. My truck is in perfect condition and they didn't try to leverage it's condition - just wouldn't follow through with their offer.

    2019 SR5 Dbl Cab 33kmi pristine!
Offered in the letter 32+k then in person 26k. Reason is because they have too much used stock. I call BS...

Does anyone know how to reach Toyota corporate?

Try another dealer first to see what number is more correct

Haha... I was looking at a Subaru Outback over the weekend and they offered me 33k

    Black book is 33-38.

These guys are definitely in the wrong here. Not worth the legal pursuit so I will just escalate to corporate so they know these guys are doing this to people. Good thing I'm strong because I loved the black 1794 I wanted to trade for...

Corporate isn’t going to get involved in the used car side of the business. Even if they call the dealership, the dealer will give a song and dance about your truck. Or there is some fine print on the ad. Either way, it will be a “he said, she said” scenario and no one wins. Well, you won’t win.

Take your money somewhere else. If you buy from them you are just validating their methods.

I agree with above.... there is a reason that their called "Stealerships"...... what you're talking about happens everyday and is "business as usual." I never said it was morally right... just what they always do

Dean, I had a very similar experience to yours. Got an online quote from a dealership out of state, when I showed up, the salesman that was assigned to me refused to honor the online quote I had received from them. After some back and forth with this moron, I told him to kiss my ass, and left. When I got home I sent a very angry but respectful comment on the Dealerships website detailing the quote, and the way I was treated by the salesman. The very next morning I got a call from the sales manager telling me that he would honor the quote, and drop an additional 1K off the price I was quoted. Instead of going to Corporate who probably won't care, try hitting the sales manager, that's his bread and butter. Good luck.

I bought a CPO Camry a couple years ago, the dealer wouldn’t honor their advertised finance rates, etc. Overall the car was a good enough deal, and we financed through our bank so their finance department didn’t get a dime. I’d still rather buy privately than repeat that.

Sell it yourself. They go fast. Posted my last Tundra on Craigslist and it was gone in a few hours.

I'm confused...maybe it's just been a long day. You own a 2019 SR5 double cab, but went looking at a Subaru Outback and want to trade for a black 1794? :monocle:

I don’t see what you’re complaining to corporate about. Life is too short to get so worked up about an offer a business is making. They didn’t do anything but waste your time, which is par for the course with any car dealer

Go to another Toyota, see if they can get that 1794 you want in a dealer trade. The better dealerships will swap cars with others to get your business.

Looked at the Subaru but didn't like the way it drives so didn't do it. Saw the 1794 later and decided that it is exactly what I want.

Subaru dealership offered me 32+ on my SR5. Toyota offered 29 even though the offer letter they sent me was for 32+ as an existing customer. They backed out of their offer.

It's all good. I love my SR5 and will just keep it. At the same time, I will not work with this dealership ever again.

Makes sense. I just wasn't sure where the Subaru came into play if you were wanting to stay in a truck. I would do as others mentioned above and just head to another dealership with your business.
