They have no love for the 1st Gen Tundra after market...Why? Doesn't matter cuz I been talking with RSI Smart cap ( yes, I know they don't make anything for 1st Gen) but the measurement can be close enough that little mods can be made to fit and also DECKED. I have mod my 2006 SR5 tundra with rear disk brakes, snorkel, TAG front bumper w/ winch, wilco tire carrier, 3" lift by TOYTEC and tonneau cover. I still looking for more stuff to do to it. If you'll have anything out landing done let me know.

There's simply not as much money in the first gen market and the market isn't that big. These trucks are getting older and there are less on the road as time goes on. It's hard for a company to throw money towards R&D in a perpetually declining market. There's never going to be a brand new first gen Tundra again that any potential products could go on. I'd also wager that more first gen owners don't have the expendable income that newer truck owners may have.

These trucks were only produced for 6 years (double cabs three), while the 5.7s are going on 14 years. Much easier for a company to choose to focus on a truck that's been around 14 years with only a few facelifts.

It sounds like you've already upgraded your truck a bit with the necessary mods - what about learning and making your stuff for the truck? I have a Decked system in my truck, except it's not a Decked system at all. It's a wood box that's probably lighter and was much cheaper to make myself.

    Throw up some pics.

and a vehicle without jeep levels of aftermarket is a good thing. The mods you do stand out, and the truck is usually more personalized.

Yeah I've been thinking about building my own cabinets for the back of the truck. Does anybody know good plans I seen a lot about on YouTube but it doesn't give you measurements. I also don't have the equipment to cut all most of the stuff

I don't know where you're located but I know a guy that builds quality wooden drawers and stuff like that for Toyotas here in Texas. He's a good dude and a lot of the Toyota guys I go 4 wheeling with (him included) have bought his products.
