    Gents,

I need assistance. I have a 2003 Tundra SR5 4X4. The other day I was changing my air filter and noticed rat turds in the black box where the air filter is. How in the hell does a rat get in there??? Anyway I initiated a week long battle with that little bastard. Finally just dropped a d-con tablet under the hood and he ate it and subsequently died somewhere inside my air ducts. Today, I turned on the the a/c and almost blew chunks the smell was horrible. What do I do? I am not a mechanic. I need some step by step instructions/pics, or instructional video. Any advice will be appreciated.

I would start by removing the blower motor and resistor. Also, remove the wiper arms and cowl.

All are easy to remove, I don't have pictures for you at the moment.

Thank you. I removed the blower and did not really notice a smell but there was one little turd. Where is the resistor? I'll look up a video for wiper arms and cowl.

The resistor pulls out facing the passenger seat.
Remove the glove box by removing the two screws under it, then you should see it. Two screws and a plug.

Also, the vent tube behind the glove box pulls out easy. Slide it left then pull out.
