Fabbed up a lockable mount using the deck rails for some traction boards. I hate the idea of having these mounted with no way to lock them.01C38121-F3F1-4DD4-B691-DDF503B1DC1D.jpg20B23C76-E248-400B-BCC2-5D2F23AA707D.jpg1D9FF19D-5A55-42AE-952D-CBD9A12070B9.jpg

What are y'all thoughts on temporarily running without a tailpipe? I put the 8" DD on a little while back, and installed the resonator a couple weeks ago. The making of the hole was a nightmare (went through 2 holesaws, finished with angle grinder) and I'm fairly certain I didn't put it in the right spot. Not a fan of how it changed the sound of the truck but I found a guy willing to give me his tailpipe free in a couple of weeks once his trd exhaust shows up. Thinking about just removing the tailpipe and driving with it coming out the muffler until then. Is this a bad idea?

So did this make both bulbs running lights, brake light as brake lights, and both bulbs as turn signals? Vleds is making a kit that does all of that but they are still a month and a half out at a minimum. A video would be awesome.

This adds a running light to the turn signal. Nothing on the bottom has changed

Totally was going to install and wire puddle lights on my SR5, but it's humid as shit so I'm sitting on the couch instead.

I know it does nothing but I really like the way it looks. In my honest opinion it just makes the front look beefier.

Yeah it was shitty earlier today when. I went in for OT. Started decent on the roof then got pretty humid, and it just rained like an hour ago. Just miserable outside. Plus the mosquitos are atrocious. I'm good in my AC

Bunch of maintenance today so no pics of fancy stuff.

Oil change with all the new goodies.
    Fumoto
    MotivX
    Oem metal filter housing

    No mess, no stress.
Took 20 minutes only because I marveled at the MotivX filter drain build quality and convenience.

    Use the good stuff.
    Amsoil Signature Series

    upload_2021-8-21_23-44-41.jpg

    Brake fluid flush.
Took a couple of hours because I wanted to make sure all was done correctly and cleanly.

This was helpful and well made.

And a plug change after 130,000 miles.
After checking my records, I realized that the dealer didn’t change my plugs at 80M miles as I asked them to.

This is how the old ones look after 130M miles with a D.A.P. Tune
    Any feedback would be appreciated.

    Not bad for 130,000 miles.

Upgraded rear leafs to help with tow sag and added bed weight with a sleep setup. Great combo with the Kings. Rides smooth with or without the added weight.

That's awesome! This on a set of smoked OEMs would probably be the best looking tails so far imo.
I think you'd be fine. People regularly dump before axle anyway. The only thing I've read is some notice fumes more in stop and go traffic over being dumped to the back & side.

You can see I put mine below the grill. And as the above post, I think the contrasting colors give it more "pop". I also like the clean look after removing the running board...but I am 6'3" and have no problem stepping up into the truck and stepping out of the truck without sliding/smashing on the edge of the seat...even without a grab handle!

I was wondering the same thing when installing — I actually have it on both sides, I tightened down the bolts as much as I could but there’s a slight gap between that rear bracket. :notsure:

    As you requested.

just some friendly advice. If you do not tow constantly or have very little bed weight….DO NOT BUY the heavy duty leafs. They give you the crappiest ride comfort and will ruin your good truck vibes. Those springs are super stiff and are meant for those that are constantly fighting truck sag.

I thought they were pretty straight forward to install? Were your bits dull? I've got my resonator in the garage ready to install in a couple weeks as soon as my shoulder is a bit more healed.

As did I. The first holesaw was an old one but still serviceable, teeth snapped right off as soon as I started drilling. Second holesaw was brand new and made it about halfway before it started deteriorating. I think I didn't mark the hole up high enough, and there's a small hump in that section of the tailpipe. Best I can surmise is it was an uneven surface so the teeth caught awkwardly and made it miserable
