Method MR313

Hi,

I always wanted to go with 17” wheels and bigger tires, and i was leaning to the method wheels but my main concern was that i do not want a high offset wheels which will poke out of the finders, i like the flush look and don’t mind for little poke. So i decided to go with the MR313 17x8.5 +25 since it is the only method wheel which have this offset, i was little worried because all the pics that i saw for this wheel are unfair as it does not show how really is this wheel looks good on the Tundra.
But i maid my mind finally and pulled the trigger, and i am very happy with the choice, i took some photos but i assure you it always looks better on real.

Here it are the modes:
wheels: Method MR313 17x8.5 +25 in Titanium Gloss
Tires: Yokohama Geolander LT285/70 G015
Suspension: Oem Suspension with Rough Country 1.75” leveling kit in front and Sulastic Shackles at the back which i believe That it increase the high by 0.5” at the back.

I had no issues of rubbing at all.

 

Has anyone try to fit 35s on the method 313s it seems everyone on this thread is running smaller narrower tires.

 

Yes I had 35" pitbull Rockers on them. They dont get any bigger for a 35" tire. Even here's a quick pic of 35" Toyo Open Country MTs.

 

what suspension set up are you on? Any cutting trimming?

 

Stock pro with 2 shims upfront on each side, +3 shackle. I also replaced the stock leaf springs with Alcans stock+500. Yes did a BMC and trimmed behind the front lower plastics in wheel well. Zero rub and rides like a dream.

Sorry to revive this thread lol.

But was the fix in your situation? Anyone else have issues with swapping the factory TPMS sensors over to these wheels? I’m being told the same thing and 2 have broken during install so far.

 

Turned out none of the original TPMS sensors fit, so I got new ones. Here she is with the new wheels. 20x9.5 +25mm.

 

Seems like the MR313 is discontinued. Not sure why.
