When I bought mine there were 2 TSS packages. One black and one chrome. The steps are part of it but I negotiated them off the truck. Mine came with KO2s. The tire upgrade is the only reason I bought it.

Coincidentally I was watching the auto makers values over the last year.
The suppliers seemed to be a run for some time.
Good chance to make a buck when everyone's eyes glazed over after Ford released the lightening promo ad. They probably spent more on the commercial than they did on R&D for the truck...
All it takes is one twig to snap and we could see another potential selloff. Then again everything seems to be so out to lunch market wise it could be anyone's guess which direction things may go next....:monocle:

Went to my local Toyota dealer today to make a deposit on a 2022 trd pro and they have 40 people ahead of me who made deposits with 5 of those from coming from employees.

My prediction, they won’t have a vehicle delivered till mid 2022 to 2023. It’s one screwed up world right now and it ain’t getting better anytime soon.

Nissan finally released official details on the new Z (I'm buying one) and it had always been called "2022 Z" but on reveal day Tuesday, they said it will be a "2023" model. And very limited options in it's first year. So, I totally and most highly doubt there will be a "2022 Tundra". In the Z's case, they said deliveries begin in Spring of 2022, making it an early release..... Maybe the Tundra will also be an "early release" 2023??

There's so much pent up demand, better hold on for the ADMs

Somebody said something about batteries for electric cars. These batteries cost like 20 K. Recently saw a fella buy a electric car for cheap because of the battery pack would go out quickly. Got the Tesla on the cheap and sent it in to the shop where they have all the special tools to take the bottom off the car which are / is the battery ( they are lots and lots and lots of double AA batteries all wired into cells then the cells are wired to make one!! Big Ass battery. Checked out the battery and they found one dead AA battery that was putting a drain on a cell. They just disconnected that one battery and it was good to go. Still cost him a few thousand but he didn’t have to spend 20K for a whole new battery so he purchased a Tesla for cheap!! It was on like a Discovery channel or something, if I find it I’ll post it.

Watch the political leaning comments. We have no need for them on here.

A turbo V-6 will be just fine. They have been tested for a very long time.

So how much is a hybrid Tundra going to weigh? Electric motors and batteries aren’t free weight. I’m already at 6200 so it’ll be interesting to see where they trim the weight.

320lb diff between the rav4 and rav4 hybrid. I'd expect a slightly larger battery for a tundra, but it's already pretty small.

Be careful what you wish for.... The Ford Powerboost in the higher trims only have around 1,350 payload. No real difference compared to the current Tundra.

I drove a new Ford Cargo van that my company just purchased. It has the 3.5 Ecoboost. Damn! That things has some balls. Very impressed. I hope Toyota’s twin turbo is tuned for equal enjoyment.

It's definitely decent numbers, but the LC300 is about a full second slower to 100kmh/62mph than most versions of coyote or Ecoboost F-150s.

So, don't expect the new Tundra to out-accelerate a Ford.

Not a big deal for me, as long as it feels a touch quicker than my current truck.

Good to see a dyno, thanks. We'll see how it pans out in the US. Toyota wouldn't have put the V35A in the LC300 unless they had total confidence for reliability.

If one wants a 4G Tundra or Sequoia you get a TTV6 with a hybrid option. You buy what Toyota offers, stay with what you have now, or buy another brand.

I'm not all excited about a TTV6, but if that is the engine available that's what I'll have to buy sometime down the road when the 5.7 wears out.

I respect the rules of the forum, and can only see what is left. Leaving that portion with a public warning appears Orwellian.

    You’re right.

Instead of warnings I will just take care of the problem like I should have. Thanks for the advice.
