Trying to buy a new Tundra

Agreed and this is under ideal circumstances. We know our times aren't ideal so this delay could be a few years at a minimum.

 

I would take what you can get and make it work. At least you know going down the road the truck will basically be a risk free investment.

 

I also have a call, email and text into anther dealer, about a Lunar Pro for $55862.
No return calls, texts or emails since I contacted them a few hours ago.

 

All 3 have great options. Decisions decisions...

 

My Dealer this morning said he doesn't think the Tundras will be affected with this most current cut. He lost 28 vehicles this morning but they were all cars and SUV's. They seem to think that the cuts are primarily for oversea produced vehicles.

we'll see. keeping my fingers and toes crossed.

 

I say get the color you want. You can always add aftermarket parts, and build the truck to your taste. You rather be happy having the color of your choice.

Ultimately I would like a Cement with color keyed parts, but they don't offer that exactly. I cant even find a cement on a lot.
What is everyone's thoughts on the 1794's. Overpriced?

 

Where are you located? Kings Toyota in Cincinnati has a cement crew max off road in stock. It’s a big investment, I’d try to find what you want.

You can change a lot of things, but color is one of the hardest. You have to be able to stand looking at it every day. I spent over a year looking for my inferno in the config I wanted. Dont settle.

 

Overpriced and awful color leather interior. You will have to find a TRD Sport if you want the color keyed parts or find a TRD Off Road package and add the color bumper afterwards. I would agree, don't settle with what's available. Keep looking and be patient.

Did they delete the TSS system? I don’t see the sensor anywhere and that looks like an old-style (pre 2018 ) grill…

 

Check with Andy Mohr Toyota in Avon, IN. They are showing 9 2021’s on their site. 1 is Limited Cement, another is a PRO. Worth checking into.

Got mine new for $38k + fees, tax, etc. = $44k out the door.
Better off buying it new.

 

Definitely a head turner. When you have the color keyed bumpers and grill, it just makes the truck look even better.

I just called and They’re marking there’s up due to demand.

 

Dang I feel lucky now. Got a call out of the blue today from a dealer that someone withdrew their deposit on a Lunar Rock CM here in TX. So I took it and got it at MSRP. The only other for sale is one $68k new and the other at $62k used.

The problem… it’s not built yet and estimated to be delivered sometime in October (if Toyota doesn’t cancel or delay the order)

 

From what I’ve seen as far as pricing and inventory - I wouldn’t wait around if you want it.

 

I would go this route. Don’t settle for a different color, get what you want. Prob more than you were planning on spending, but the limited should help when resale comes around. Make sure the deposit is refundable though, that way if something else pops up, you can jump on it.

 

There's a white limited nightshade in Kansas City I was eyeing before I found the TRD Pro. Don't know how far that is from you.
