So I pulled off this mount that was held on by 3M VHB and while cleaning the residual adhesive I destroyed the finish on the acrylic using ironically 3m adhesive remover. I need to purchase a new one if some one here can point me in the right direction with a part # and vendor. I am near 2 stealerships if need be. Thanks in advance.
PS, does that acrylic just 'pop-out' or is more involved?
    Thanks again.

I don't think the acrylic pops out. You'll be looking for a new HVAC bezel. I would try junkyards first. The 2000-2003 bezels are different from the 2004-2006 bezels.

You could try a polishing compound to see if you can bring it back?

Problem solved. Called my buddy who tints windows & does vinyl wraps. He said “Bring it over & I’ll cut you in a nice piece of vinyl wrap, it’ll look better in satin anyways”! Lol. It’ll just cost me a 6 pack of his favorite foam.

You could also polish it out using Synovus' 3-step kit. It's what I use on acrylics like headlight housings and turntable lids. Should come out really smooth.

Share some pics of what you land with after. I'm really curious.

Thanks for the heads up on the Synovus.
He's leaving in the morning on a short trip, I'll post back when he returns early next week.
