Lift is in, but still on the BFG K02 32". Getting the 35s Nitto Ridge Grapplers installed in the morning instead.

And here it is with the Ridge Gappler 35s.

And... now I have gears waiting to be installed. Sigh...

Hey guys, new to the forum. Just moved up from my 2010 Tacoma I’ve had since new to a 2013 Tundra Crewmax with a 12” Bulletproof lift and Toyo open country 38’s.

That's the reason why I went with a 6" lift and 35s. My guesstimate had me at 6'8" give or take a few, and actual is 6'9". It was still just enough space to clear the garage entry way.

My garage doors are very small. My Tacoma with a 3” lift, 33’s, and roof rack wouldn’t fit.

Now that you mention it I totally see it relative to your Z sitting in there. But still an awesome work space! Wife would probably hate it if I had something like that cause I'd probably be in there all day, every day lol.

Hello everyone I’m new to the tundra game I sold my Tacoma to upgrade for more room for the family n comfort. I have a 12 tundra rockwarrior with 100k miles on it and it has adjustable Bilsteins 0-2” upfront and 5100’s in rear with 33’s on warrior wheels and 1” wheels spacers bolted to the hub. I never ran spacers before. I am wanting to lift my truck 3 or 4” maybe what is the best options for me? I would like to keep the Billy’s I have if possible.

You meaning you want to add a lift that’d be 3” or 4” from what stock height would be, or add 3” or 4” over the setup you currently have?

Been looking for pics with a 6” lift and the stock 32’s. I like it. I currently run the same size tires with stock TRD off-road lift. Was just hoping I could do a 6” lift without going bigger tires. Your truck looks great by the way.

The pics with the 6" and 32s don't really do it justice. It looked way better in person. I had taken other shots and just wasn't happy with the results, and the one you quoted being the best one I could get. I was using my phone camera, but probably should have used my DSLR. It was short-lived though as I think I only had it like that for 3 or 4 days before I got the 35s installed. And thanks!

Hey everyone, just ordered the 6" lift from RC and and have a question about the width of tires. My wheels are 22x10 with +10 offset. I'd prefer 37's over 35's but notice that width on the 37's range from 12.50 to 13.50. Can anyone chime in if either width would allow better turning radius or could cause problems with fitment? I've searched quite a bit and can't find a clear answer regarding wheels with positive offset. The truck already has the body mount chop from a previous setup and is an 09' 4x4 with the factory tow package from yota which came with 4.30 gears if I'm remembering correctly. Thanks Everyone!

Would it be my worthwhile to get a 3 or 4” lift over what I already have currently or leave it and the keep the adjustable Holstein set up? Or would it be just a waste of $ for the added 1-2” gained?

I for sure would run 12.50 over 13.50. I have a zero offset and cant imagine the turning radius with the 22x10. I run 20x10 w/ 12.50 but in 36.4 (325). 37's are going to be a bit much for the 4.30 gears my man.

I have a 2” rough country lift up front and hopefully getting a icon add a leaf soon cause it’s down in the back a little. In the last pic I went back to stock exhaust from a 8” bamuffler.

Ooops...I wound up going with 37x13.50. I did some trimming on the front bumper and have full turn radius which was a nice surprise. Truck surprisingly drives/shifts close to stock as well. Here's a pic of the speedo on SR7 from earlier today.

It looks great with the lift and these aggressive wide tires, it comes across very low key like it takes a second glance to figure out you are standing next to a really badassed Rottweiler or something
(just put a new head unit, all new speakers, mounted tweeters in the door, put a Kicker hideaway 10" Subwoofer under the passenger seat so it also sounds amazeballs)

I love this truck, I do, it really grew on me once I started making my modificationsTule Day.jpg IMG_0164 (1).jpg IMG_0156 (1).jpg

Very nice! Love the look of the black wheels with that color. That was one of my favorite colors on the Gen 2. I tried to find one in silver/grey/dark grey (can't remember what shade of those colors were available at the time) when I bought my Gen 2, but I got such a deal on a white '08 that I didn't hesitate.

And I'm with ya, earlier this year I toyed with the idea of getting a new(er) model. I had plenty of cash for a down, but I took one look at pricing and being that I was barely at 98k miles, I decided to keep it and just pour the $$ into upgrades. I'm loving my Gen 2 now more than ever!
