Just put some more miles on it. Last week Portland Maine. Awesome drive. Just parked it with around 3500 miles on it.

 

Going to be in Maine in a few weeks myself. But not with my truck…

Allright…. Who’s rocking’ the LR Pro in Destin? Unfortunately, mine didn’t make it out of the shop in time. Had to take a minivan.

 

Damn…just went through all 80 pages of this thread and confirmed/updated the member list. There were a few I had missed.

I also axed the “waiting list” because quite a few that were on it had dropped their order or switched to a different trim or just never came back to the site.

I know there’s a few of you guys currently waiting or getting close to delivery. Make sure to post up a pic when you really get it and I’ll make sure you’re added to the list.

I think that's actually Cement based on the grill, hood, and wheels. Think that was a 2017 model year color.

 

Also the fender antenna is a dead give away

I see many RAV4’s in LR. Is LR offered in multiple trims on that platform?

 

yes, and multiple years (starting with a single trim in 2019)

How many of you have ceramic coats? A buddy had a LR Tacoma and said the color is “thin and soft”

 

I just had mine done last week.It turned out perfect

 

Didn’t know there was such a thing as a LR Tacoma.

I went with PPF in the front instead. Had ceramic before and it seems too expensive for what it is, IMO.

I’m sure others will disagree.

 

All the PROs come in Lunar Rock. Taco tundra 4R and sequoia

 

Mine is both PPF'd on the front and ceramic coated. Toyota paint is notoriously thin, so his take is pretty accurate.

 

Cool. Seen the others but haven’t seen a LR taco in the wild.

 

Just got a call from my dealer that Thursday is build day and he's clue'd into real-time updates on build/delivery. Suppose this means its actually happening?

 

Do you have port options? Heard some have been sitting waiting for certain port installs.

 

Based on the preliminary VIN (don't think its the built VIN given the letter 4th from last) the only Port options are stainless steel door edge guards? Seems like a commodity part. Even in this market.

 

Should be good if I remember right it’s the spray in liner and steps taking the most time.

 

I’ve got ceramic graphene coat. But I’ve done ceramic on all my vehicles since it became available. Makes washes so much easier and it stays cleaner longer.

that may be what held up the first deposit that I had. They said it was "missing a part" but that sounds more likely.

 

How do the port options work exactly. Is there a standardized "port" location where the additional options are installed? Is it just a separate building on the San Antonio campus for options installs? Mine had port options and was just curious how that all worked.
