May I ask why you are selling?

 

Switched to Ironman FCPs, no real reason other than wanted 2.5" shocks.

 

What size tire were you able to to run with this setup?

 

I ran 315s (35) with them without issue.

I thought they were a bit over worked by the size at first but now that I’ve had the Ironmans on for a few weeks I know that’s not true. My tires are just stiff.

 

Bump, price lowered to $850 to accommodate for the blemish on the lower part of the coilover. The scratch is touched up now, would have been fine either way as its aluminum and wont rust.

Probably no one local. These really are a great shock, better than 5100s, just a smidge more cash, but adjustable.

I love my Ironman FCPs but the difference ultimately wasn’t enough to justify the cost of swapping them out and alignment. They ride nearly identical. Oh well, live and learn. Whoever buys these will be happy I’m sure.

Also, just an FYI for anyone interested I can preset these to a desired height.

Currently at 2.5” with the included shims, 2” w/o the shims.

Shipping would be expensive and limited since some carriers have a weight limit before they consider it freight. I could always get a quote but I would estimate it to be near the $100 range.

 

I’m not sure what this kit sells for new. You can look into it if you’d like to.
Your truck has about the same stance I’m looking to put on mine. I just ordered a 2021 crewmax 4x4 sr5. 5.7
What’s your wheel specs? Diameter, width, offset, brand?

 

I found the kit online. Looks like about $1100. I would imagine shipping to be at least $100. Then packaging.

 

Im sure you could find it new for 1000-1100. Eibach was like $1100 shipped when I bought them through Headstrong Offroad.

Truck was at 2.5" lift in front, +3 coachbuilder in back.

Wheels and tires are Method 316 17x8.5 0 offset and 315/70r17 Baja AT

 

Cool. Thanks for the info. Wheels can be such hard search. Offset is a big issue. I like a -12 or even -24 offset. Hard to find or not available on some wheels.

 

Could always run spacers.

 

I can't comment on their shocks but, I have a lot of experience with their springs, specially the "Progressive" spring rate ones.
I used their springs for a number of years on my very well cared for Trans Am WS6.
During a four year stretch, those springs sacked more than an inch. When I pulled them off to go to a fixed rate higher quality steel spring, we measured them against their data on static length with no load.
They were 1.5 inches collapsed.
Sometimes you can't have everything so my comment on springing? always go with fixed rate springs.
Shocks need a just a bit of compression damping but adjust-ability in rebound damping to be the ticket for truck applications with varied terrain.

These are linear rate coils, steel. They have aluminum parts on the shock body.

 

When I sold my Dobinsons coilovers and shocks shipping was about $130 from CA to MT. I checked shipping from CA to FL for one potential buyer and it was $250. Just a rough idea of cost for you.
