Thanks for all the orders again crew. To those that ordered vent rings if you need any help just hit me up I’m more then happy to assist. This round printed very well so I really don’t think much sanding is gonna be necessary. I use Krylon Fusion paint and a clear or matte coat as well.

 

All the support you guys show leads us to the next round of goodies. I am liking Friday’s for drops so that will be the plan from now on unless I’m looking at a special date. Our Friday’s around here are a blast so seems only fitting to keep it up. Lastly thanks to all the new members that joined in this time around. We are all glad to have ya up in this crew.

6 gun shops, not one had the Sig 365.

Almost pulled the trigger on a FN, but held off. I’m now in a waiting list at the shop closest to home, and I’ll most likely get one in the next shipment, but I’ll miss out on the no tax.

I have one shop to check out tomorrow, close to work, but I’m not hopeful.

 

FN's are pretty nice.....Fabrigue Nationale has been making some quite nifty firearms over the years. Especially Mauser receivers used for custom hunting rifles...

 

I have one FN, a Browning sweet 16 made back in 1939.

I shoot mine more than my 1911 or P320.

 

My dad had a custom 7X57 hunting rifle made. FN receiver, Star gauged barrel, with a mesquite stock blank. 1967. "Dutch" Weinszafel put it all together. Dutch had a shooting range and custom gunsmith shop near Roseburg, Orygun. Dutch was a U boat Captain in WW2 that became a prisoner of war and was sent out to Utah to bide his time, if my memory is correct. A beautiful rifle. After my dad passed, one of my younger brothers got it. Non hunter and f'ing sold it! Wifey hated "guns"! I'm still a bit pissed about that but I was overseas at the time in the Marines.....1980

 

My siblings are all gun haters, as my dad was passing His collection on to me when we were cleaning out his house, my sister was trying to force my hand to sell them, as it was “unfair” I was taking money out of their pockets. My dad always had a soft spot for her, and I thought he was gonna get up out of his wheelchair to smack her. One of the few times I’ve seen him put her in her place

 

I’ve got a 320(m17) and a 938, but I really enjoyed his 365, and the added capacity over the shield makes it a no brainer

 

I forgive my younger brothers. My dad died at 51. Never had time to introduce them to firearms like my dad did to me. My older brother isn't into hunting or firearms ever since he got back from Vietnam in 1968. I can respect that. I just barely missed that fun time....

Yeah my sister seems to think her husband will get one or two of my dad's rifles. I laughed. Said neither of you will get dad's rifles. Neither of you hunt. And you won't let him go buy his own rifles because you don't want guns in the house because of the kids. What makes you think these will go to you? She didn't have an answer, just looked at her feet and said ok.

 

Took my wife to a local gun store recently. She wants to start carrying and her favorite Barretta 92fs is a little too large. She fell in love with the Hellcat and the Glock I want to say it was the 43?? Might have to double check, she has a birthday coming up in oct. Oh, she’s a hell of a shot. Her daddy trained her well.

 

If she likes glocks, you should have her look at a CZ. They are basically a Glock with upgrades. Better trigger, metal sites, etc. More gun for your money according to my brother. He actual switch from Sig to CZ. Says they have better triggers.

 

I would have done the same thing. I had several nice handguns and hunting rifles. According to my older brother, when my mom sold our ranch in Orygun and moved back to kali, my firearms sort of disappeared. There were no restrictions back then. FYI....Bekins was the mover of my moms goods back then. Just sayin...

 

The last couple years here in CO.....the majority of folks applying and getting a concealed carry are by far .....women! Many have never considered ever owning a firearm. Don't piss off a mother bear. She will protect her cubs. Just sayin.....
