Who has Winjet Renegade LED Tail Lights?

Thinking about pulling the trigger on the Winjet Renegades Sequential.

So many options out there so asking you all Tundra guys and gals for some feedback.

 

The projector ones? They look a little to cluttered for me. 1 halogen, 1 projector, that box thing at the top and the strip at the bottom. I think if they had 2 projectors it would look much cleaner. How much do they run?

I'm looking at the tail lights. I guess I should have clarified that in the post. The tail lights I believe are in the $ 250 range

 

I like them too but do a search on them. Some members have complained about there quality. I do not know personally, but like them a lot. I also like the nixon taillights on Amazon.

 

Nixon? I’ll have to check them out. The Winjet I also heard of poor quality but that was back in 2018. The new LED Renegade model seems to have a larger area for the brake lights and sequential turn signals.

I decided to pull the trigger on the Winjet Renegade with sequential signals

$237 RNGT0667 Winjet LED Tail Lights Assembly for 2014-2021 Toyota Tundra Taillights with Led Sequential Turn Signals DRL Brake Lights Rear Lamps Pair Replacement for Tundra Pickup Passenger and Driver Side (Smoke)

RNGT0667 in the red lens. I contacted Winjet and they said that these come with all the LED's including the reverse light. We will see!

Ya I did see those posts but they date back to a couple of years ago. I do like the red lens instead of the smoke or clear. I have bought Morimoto products for my truck in the past and had issues with them as well. We will see if Winjet has refined this line. Worst case scenario I'll send them back.

I have been running the Renegades for about 6mo No problems what so ever.

 

I have had the Renegades for almost 2 yrs and couldn't be more pleased

I went through Winjet via Amazon Prime and I did speak with Winjet and as for having the reverse led bulbs already in them they are Wrong!! I purchased some led Sylvania’s from a local auto store but since the reverse lens is crystal clear I’m buying another set of bulbs with an led on the end of it. I attached a couple of pics. I really like the glow bars instead of the led dots.

 

What was wrong with the back up leds that came with it? wrong size on? Are the 921 replacements.

Before I ordered them I called Winjet to ask if they came with all the bulbs and Winjets customer service said they did. I also contacted CarID and they said the same thing Winjet said. So I ordered through Amazon but it came from the Winjet in Industry City California where Winjets offices are. So their must be a reverse light burglar between California and Ohio or WinJets customer service needs to be updated.

looks solid, some people complained about the fit but I think it fits as close as oem if not better. I am pleased with the purchase price of $258

Others charge a lot more. I couldn’t come to paying over $300 for non-oem.

the connectors and seals fill every nook and cranny of the lights.

I am pleased with the quality and now I just installed some super bright reverse leds MaxGTRS 7440 reverse bulbs.

Received my Winjet few days ago , was disappointed of the bat because the driver side light has a chipped lens in the corner . Now gotta go thru all the bullshit with CARID to get a replacement.

 

Let us know how you works out with everything. If I buy them ,that’s who I was going to buy them from.Also looking at the Hirev.

When you bought them through CarID did your reverse led bulbs come with them?

 

I spoke with CarID but since I have Amazon Prime I bought from Winjet through Amazon for that reason that Saab is going through.

If your still interested in the Winjets I would go through Amazon. I purchased the LED reverse bulbs there to for $15 bucks. I attached a picture of them

 

Not to thread jack but I love my Hi-Revs. All LED & they come with the reverse bulb

 

Any update on winjet renegade quality? Are there any other sequential tail lights that are worth looking at?
