No no, then he would have to look down. I think he uses the bite mount, where you hold the camera with your teeth.

Yeah, too much damn work. Bought this used last year from a bike shop that upgraded to a rim clamp machine. Been working great for my UTV tires.

In my effort to de-chrome my truck I ordered some replacement sideview mirrors that were color matched. For future reference, there is a difference between the mirrors on a 05/06, or at least a double cab and normal trucks.
One of the mirrors I bought said specifically for a 05/06 but I didn't think there would be a difference. I am thinking that they are for a 05/06 double cab which is why they are different.
Here you can see it's only the trim that is much larger.

    @BubbaW

got my new windshield and auto dim mirror in today.this was suppose to be a cheaper modification but after manglin the mount I was in a chunk. Anyways, Safelite did there thing then all I had to do was hook up the wiring.

1step: drop the overhead console and see if you’ve got any wiring up there. It’s only 2 screws and some pop in tabs holding it up there
    D49C6DE8-3463-4E63-98FC-408C5E6D72AD.jpg
2nd: now I got lucky and my wiring was already there even with a standard mirror. Pull the tape and feed it out.
    67E031F9-24B0-4804-8928-29E4DB5DD1B4.jpg
3rd: hook up your mirror and clip your cover in place.
    94DBA19C-93B9-45BD-A63A-00648EE32470.jpg
4th: put your overhead console back in place and enjoy that new auto dimming mirror

i've envisioned clamps that grab like yours, but up top a long piece of aluminum with a 90 degree bend to make a shelf i can use on the inner ledge.

I think I’m wimping out and going 13WL stoptech on the brakes. That will be one area of superiority you will always have. Along with radiator and of course paint.

About to open my McGeorge box…

I should soon have an edge on you alternator-wise, stereo-wise and bed-light-wise.

You will definitely own my ass on horns.

Carpeted shells are fantastic. I've camped in mine. It's incredible the sound dampening that a carpeted interior has.

Got the moonroof closed again finally . Had a ball leaf blocking the drivers side drain, which was causing the leak water in the interior. The pulled the seats and did the first of 2 or 3 carpet cleaning with shampoo cleaner. It looks so much better.

Breaking the bead is the hard part. or wait.... Working the tire off the rim is the hard part.... or mounting the.... yeah it's fukt. All of it. Took around 4 hours nonstop from first jack to final drop. May very well be the last time.
duuuddee. I am jealous of your setup. Not only the tool but being anchored to a slab is key. I got the Harbor Fright piece and lag it into 2x4's, double stacked, in cross formation. In my defense, I initially got the thing to swap moto tires, never imagined I'd be huckin 35's with it. and I'll admit, I have had to weld in gussets and replace a few parts that went wet noodle on me. I like yours tho, I think I'll have to find me one of those. And of course pour a mini slab to mount it to. thanx for sharing

Twisted in a new set of Denso iridiums . . . these were the OG set that was in the truck since 2006. I just turned 60K miles and someone here suggested I get a new set. Nine bucks each at 'Vato-Zone' yikes. I guess I'm glad I did, they were all across the board as far as how tight they were, some I had to 'crack' a little, and 2 or 3 were finger tight. Got the new ones snugged down with a torque wrench to 13 ft. lbs. Good to go.

Any chance you have the 4 digit number handy? I need to order some of these myself and don’t want to mess up the part.
