Our old neighbors had a house on Crystal Beach at Port Bolivar (before it got wiped out). One time I was walking on the beach near the water and saw a dead baby hammerhead in the sand. It was about 9 inches long. I picked it up by it's tail because the neighbors husband had Muscular Dystrophy and couldn't make it down to the beach anymore and I wanted to show it to him. After about 5 minutes of carrying it, it came back to life and I slung it back in the water.

I was walking around calling myself "Fish Jesus" until we were talking to a fisherman about my miracle and he said that little bastard had been washing back to shore all day.

Anyways, just a little filler to to help us get to page 200.

I was in OBX several years ago. My dog came out of the night with a possum. My friends son was coming off the beach. I took it by the tail and lobbed it towards him. While saying hey Ben, the weatherman said it going to be cloudy with a chance of possums. When I went to get it to do the same thing to his brother, it was gone.

 

I wonder if that's what happens when I fart in a swimming pool.

 

Hammerheads will play opossum and have been know you snip the unexpected.

 

Unless there's beans involved, I doubt it has the same energy.

 

I'd get that little bastard away from my crotch, just in case he's got another punch left in him!
