What shark and what bear?

Truthfully, I think a shark would take it. The bear would have to hit through water to get to anything vital and that's some solidly ablative armor for the fish. Perhaps the smarts of the bear would let it come out on top though.

All day. Bears are puss compared to a shark. Last shark I took out I pulled behind a boat backwards 10miles to the beach. Gutted his ass and the bastard was still biting at me.

The yellowfin tune is best sport fighter lbs for lbs but I would put a shark up next for sure.

Had a 75lbs Little ass hammerhead pull a 38’, twin engine, w/ tower in a 600 yard circle for nearly 45 minutes.

I don’t keep shark anymore it’s actually a lot more rewarding to land one and release without harm.

 

I’ve had black fin breach and do 2-3 full flips in the air. They also move so fast that the line has a rooster tail going across the water.

Sounds about right. They don’t mess around. We usually use fast detach anchors with floats on the boats for that reason alone.

The only ones I keep are makos. They're good, similar to tuna is the best comparison. The only other one I've tried was a dogfish caught in the surf. Didn't care for it.
