So, a few days ago I scheduled an appointment with a shop to get the Falcons installed on the 19th, and shortly thereafter was able to get a hold of David Ekstrom for a set of the +2 Coachbuilder shackles. My plan is this:
    • Falcons set on level, even though I prefer rake
    • Shackles add 1.25" of rear lift to get some rake back
    • Future bed rack and RTT will likely take away some of that rake
    • Future C4 Fab Hybrid bumper should get the rake back
    • When I tow my RZR (4000 lbs. at most) I shouldn't be nose high at any point
Anyone seeing a major error in my thinking? The bumper is way off in the future, but the RTT and bed rack I am hoping to do before next summer. I want to start taking advantage of my 7 on 7 off work schedule. Even if I just pop over to the lake for a day or two or roll up into the mountains to get away. My truck will be my Escape Vehicle for the times when I just want to get away.

There's a couple other threads I'm copying this post to, just because it's semi relevant to them and I'm lazy. :anonymous: Don't think you're crazy if you read this more than once.

That truck looks amazing. What's the secret sauce there? I have no detailing skills...yet.

if you’re going to delete the chrome on the front, might as well remove the tiny bit of chrome on the rear…that 4x4 emblem is a dust trap and counter intuitive to the white and black at the front/rear imo.

Also, had just washed my truck before removing; maybe should’ve gone reverse order, but didn’t think about it until I was done washing.

Definitely better without that, for sure, but my truck doesn't have it. If it did, I would either remove it or black it out.

The active off-road bump stops are a lot smaller and softer to help absorb hard hits and bumps. The SES is larger and firmer to help support payload or towing.

trying to decide what I do with the 1794 side badge, chrome door handles, and chrome headlights…mine is a 2017 so doesn’t have the black housing on the headlights. I don’t entirely mind the chrome handles on the white (would definitely have to go on a dark color) and am indifferent with the 1794 badge in the sense that it breaks up the side panel a bit.

Curious if you’re leaving the side of your truck alone, or changing out to color keyed handles and debadge?

I haven't decided about the chrome on the sides. I think I can live with the door handles, though I don't like the hand prints on them. I may address the mirrors but will decide after doing the front end. A little chrome here and there is okay, but there is such a thing as too much!

As for the 1794 badge. I'm still on the fence there too. I will either just leave it or replace it with the normal 5.7 badge. I know its petty, but I specifically purchased a 2021 rather than waiting for a 2022 because of the V8, so I feel like there should be a V8 badge somewhere on the truck! :D

yeah, I’d say if you remove the 1794, leave without…the V8 gets heard every time you step on the gas. Makes me smile every time I hear it next to newer Fords

Looks awesome with the amber front lighting.
    So many ?’s…
Was that pretty plug and play or require a decent amount of modification?
Do you have blind spot monitoring?
    Are they power folding/heated?

How do you like them? On and off-road? With the RAS? I’m interested in beefing up my rear suspension, but I really like the articulation I get with the stock leafs, CB +2s, and TRD Fox suspension. But that RAS would be great for hauling loads.

Things I wish weren’t done to my tundra today… hit a bug so hard it left it’s orange spot in my clear coat on my new color matched mirror caps. I got home and got most of its orange out, but tried bug/tar, scratch x, and still can’t get the last of it out. Any other suggestions?

You’d think I was driving a Bezos rocketdick with as baked on as it is.
